Thank you for your review. It confirms all my suspicions. Movies like this should be killed in their sleep. Sometimes even Hollywood can't polish a turd.
I can ony rate this movie based on the previews, since those alone confirm that I would be unable to endure watching the full thing, much less 131 minutes of it. It is rather sad that movies like this can command a huge production budget and perhaps even do well when there are so many other more deserving projects. Well at least this one will have to do it without my meager addition to their revenue.
I saw this movie about 3 weeks ago and I found it a typical popcorn muncher for non 'cinephiles'. It has got good actors (Liam neeson is one of my favourites at the moment) Rihanna was definitley miscast but that is probably due to a lack of experience but this film is not going to win any awards (well maybe for the technical stuff) but there are movies that should be watched and those that if you don't watch then you wont miss out on anything. This film is the latter.
I agree with willbeonekenobi and the others user reviews, just save your money and avoid this disaster. Its ashame because the trailer actually looks good and thats why I went to see it.
