Even if you are not a fan of the God of War Series; this game will have you on the edge of your seat. Just the epic scale alone had me wanting more! This game has tons of gore for all you fans out there; the controls are as tight if not better than previous games in the series. The graphics in the game are top notch. The Story was good, though probably the weakest part of the game, but that might have to do with the fact the rest was so Amazing! I recommend everyone with a PS3 to play this at least twice.

God of War 3 finally makes its way to PS3 consoles in all its brutal and blood soaked glory and is the definition of the word "EPIC". If you've never played a God of War game, you can easily pick up this game and learn the controls. But at the same time, I recommend a play-through of the first and second game before this one, that way the storyline actually makes sense!
God of War 3 is a stylish single player game that was released in the midst of heavy multi-player first person shooter games. Even if you're into co-op (multi-player) games, God of War 3 is like a breath of fresh air.
I highly recommend picking up "The God of War Collection" for the PS3 if you haven't played the first 2 yet. You can find it pretty cheap in most places if you search. All other action games fail in comparison to this game. It'll leave you wanting more and I can almost guarantee you that you'll want to through it again once you complete the story!

Out of all those 3 god of war, this one no doubt has the best gameplay and graphic but the story plot isn't as good as second one, however the final boss fight take aleast a hour to beat is very dramatic.dissapoint is not 1080p, could had been this is a rush game, shoud gave more time to make perfection.

This is the reason I bought a PS3. I played each of the PS2 games as soon as they launched, and looked forward to this release for years. Thankfully my patience was rewarded both with an excellent game and slick system redesign just before this game's release. The graphics have a sense of scale and "epicness" that is rarely matched. I've never felt so small and puny in a game before, but never have I felt so insanely powerful as well. Mountain-sized bosses tower above Kratos, but you always feel like killing it is just within your grasp. The new weapons are awesome and easy to learn. Levels are cleverly designed, only rarely becoming anything approaching frustrating (though the Labyrinth almost crosses that line). The ending is suitably brutal, even if it is a bit vague. Some elements of the story escaped me since they refer to events from Chains of Olympus, which I haven't played. Overall, God of War III is a fantastic experience. Recommended.

This is the best game of 2010 on PS3. Remarkable story, gameplay and graphics combine to give a realistic experience of epic proportions. Even if you have not played the original GOW and GOW2, you won't be missing much. Your mission is immediately stated and you go about the game completing it. This is the end of the main Trilogy, it's possible that there will be other games involving Kratos. Unlike the first and second games, this game can be easily replayed and you may want to do so, especially to complete higher difficulties. There is a number of skin unlocks as well. Pick this game up! you will not be disappointed.

After playing both of the God of War games for years, I was very excited to buy God of War III. I don't buy video games very often, but these are definitely worth every penny. God of War III brings everything that I loved about the first two in the series and brings even more to the table. I have always found the plot to be interesting and I was excited to see how everything would play out. The only downside I can say this game has is the length of the game. It definitely is much shorter than the previous God of War games. Despite it being the final chapter, the creators could have made the story mode a little bit longer.
The graphics here are top notch and are demo worthy. The boss battles are intense. This is one of the better games I have played in quite some time. It's a shame to see the series end, but it's better to have fewer games with high quality than a large amount of sequels where the quality of the games are going downhill. If this is your type of game, I highly recommend you pick this up asap.
God of War III is a great end to Kratos' console trilogy. It's not perfect, with some uneven storytelling and progression here and there, but it's still a fantastic overall package. The combat is stellar once again, it's bloodier than ever, and it is at times the best looking game ever released. I still think God of War II is the best in the trilogy, but Sony Santa Monica did a great job closing up Kratos' journey for revenge

god of war 3 is a fantastic action game that caps off kratos' revenge series very nicely. the series has finally made it to the ps3 with epic burtal violence, the best looking graphics on ps3, and awsome new additions to the beloved franchise. it isnt perfect by any means, because the story is for to disjointed and uneven, and the game is extremely short, but dont let that send u away from one of the best action games ever.

I thought GOW3 was amazingly done. The artwork is absolutely amazing. The backgrounds have enough depth that they almost appear 3 dimensional. The cinematics are some of the best in gaming. There are bountiful additions to the game. The controls are fluid and easily used. The story takes Kratos through amazing places and gives you the feeling of anguish and hate that Kratos feels. The story can be bumpy at times but brings everything to an end nicely. Definitely one to keep in your collection!
