Deep, Powerful, Musical, Fast & Relatively inexpensive for its high end performance!!!
Cons
Large enclosure & heavy (but weight is also good with a subwoofer)
Review
Over the years i have owned a 6.5" sub, two different 10" subs that i used in a dual setup then got dual 12" subs. I was always searching for that ultimate bass experience. I wanted deep bass extention, high output, fast & clean bass that wasnt bloated or boomy. With each upgrade i got closer to my dream. But it wasnt until i finally got my VTF-15h that i was finally satisfied with true bass performance!
I mainly watch movies with my home theater setup but i do have music playing on it constantly while im doing things around the home. I always thought that a large 15" ported subwoofer would do great for movies, yet to my happy suprise, music sounds absolutely wonderful. I notice low notes in music that i never knew existed in songs that ive heard my whole life. The first week i owned it i came home from work to find my wife cleaning the house & listening to music. As soon as i walked in she said to me " WOW! Your new sub sounds so good with music compared to your other subs, i love it!", my mouth dropped...my wife actually noticed & complimented a change in our system. Way to go HSU!!
I cant recommend the VTF-15h enough. If you have room in your place for its large size, you will not be disappointed with its performance. I do have to say that all new subwoofers take time to break-in. At first they are always a little clinical & a bit blan. The VTF-15h was never clinical or blan when new, it started off good but just got better & better as i used it. Now it is just a beast!!
