I don't understand Brian's review at all. This film is a riot, and a great one to watch with a few friends and a few drinks. The film's creators appeared at Alamo Drafthouse for QA and interviews after screenings. How could it be such a terrible embarassment to them, if they were willing to do that? It's a hell of a lot of fun because yes, the script and the acting are bad, but obviously a lot of heart and soul and enjoyment of the process was put into it. Call me crazy, but I can laugh at a movie, and respect what went into it at the same time. Clearly the folks at Alamo Drafthouse, and the makers of the film, have that same understanding. Bottom line is, if you love martial arts cheese, and 80s pop music cheese, get this, because it takes them both to a higher level!
