This tv looks better then REAL LIFE..Watching a football game on this tv looks waaayyy better then in person! The glossy screen enriches all the colors times ten. Very thin, easy to operate, and I actually like the controller. The controller looks like a custom piece of billet that has been milled. Sound on this tv is unbelievable. I have read reviews of people bashing the sound, don't be fooled the sound on this tv is by far the best out of the past 5 or 6 flat screen tv's I have owned. Dont be afraid to buy this tv, Samsung has worked out the problems on the c8000 after november of 2010, the prior ones had hdmi board problems and 3d problems but Samsung has worked to fix those, so don't be afraid of anything, plus, if you do you a problem, Samsung will send someone out to your house which is covered by the factory warranty.

this tv has alot of good features smart led you can adjust on 4 different settings auto motion you can customize eco sensor and apps . the overall picture on a blu ray looks great depending on the blu ray . directv comes in good . the 240 hz on smooth can cause artifacts , such as judder also on cable depending on signal and with a good blu ray less judder. there is some light bleeding in a dark room and off angle viewing the picture contrast fades . i sit in the center of the room for the sweet spot. i also leave a little light on that helps preserve the blacks better.the sound is good .the 3d is alright i saw better on other televisions. the c8000 strong point is 2d performance and that is where it shines.

This TV is simply amazing. Even watching a 2D Blu Ray gives the crispness and texture of a 3D film. Fast motion and sharp cuts are so much better than on my last HDTV, and I'm so incredibly thrilled. Watching a lot of my old movies is a brand new experience. The 3D is both fun and amazing to watch. The glasses are some of the more comfortable ones, and the viewing range is better than I'd expected - both distance and angle. I have this TV in a theater room which has dark walls and ceiling and indirect lighting, so I'm able to adjust the colors, saturation and brightness in virtually limitless ways, which is excellent. The short stand is only a drawback for those who are not going to mount the TV on the wall, and who have larger center-channel speakers that can't or won't go into a cabinet. With only 3-4 inches (7.5-10 CM) of clearance, the center speaker can be an issue - be sure you work that out before making the purchase! All in all, I can't say enough good things about this TV. I'm so happy that I bought it!
