Overall the many pros of this tv out do the bad. Im happy i purchased it. Colars are unbelevible thanks to a hugh 8,000,000 to 1 contrast ratio. Detail is un real. Motion is great, if your watching some very fast scences it still isnt perfect but not bad. The 3D though is were this tv really shines it just looks so good, it seems that the detail actually increases when watching 3D blu rays compared to 2D blu rays.
The need for one in my Master bedroom they are kind of pricey. It sucks watching other T.V.s now.

I love my new T.V. so does the wife. Amazingly, she is the reason I bought it. We are both extremely happy with our purchase of it. I looked at every single brand in this class and this won beat them out. The #2 slot goes to Sony but it is not as good as the Samsung.
Buy it if you can afford it and if you can't, go get a second job.
Easy menus very easy to turn off the 240hz if you don't like the soap look, neat looking remote, great picture and a plethora of settings.
Cons
If you have sd cables for an old system or vcr, or component cables then you have to use these included adapters, while not a total pain, it would have been nice to see them just stick a couple extra holes on the TV.
Buttons on the remote might be hard to press for some

Its Day one (probably hour 3) and I've not seen kind of problems that people are talking about in terms of judder, uneven blacks exc.
Easy setup very light tv and light box (maybe 60 pounds max)
Got 3d glasses, 3d player, and then an extra $100 off if I let Bestbuy come calibrate it for free..

No dead pixels (a problem samsungs are known to have) and no buzzing from the power cord like my other samsung lcd had (the power cord on this tv is pre-hooked up)
Very nice quality of the material even the remote, easy-2-use interface, great commands on the remote for 3D-Yahoo Widgets

The stand base for me is not as good I'll prefer to have a more firm a larger base since with the Spider base the TV tends to move dangerously when kids are around

I'm in MEXICO CITY so it was cheaper than buying directly in the US since 1 dollar is about 12.50 pesos so paying 3500 usd will kill my budget, came with the package of two 3D lenses and the movie of Monster vs Alien with no need to buy the home teather.
I fully recommend this TV SAMSUNG is the number one company who creates very goog quality products, Sony has starting to sell TV being manufactured in Tijuana just like Panasonic so thats the reason WHY the TV's are failing.
everything about this TV is a pro the internet conectivity and the constant uipdates to keep quality high are awesome

I bought this TV after looking into the Panasonic plasma, mainly because of the non 3D non HD content.
On the Samsung every show looks HD, and the blakc levels are unbelievable, I love it when i turn on the lights the tv brightens or when I turn them off it dims there is no way to have a bad picture on this tv

We use this TV in our very bright sunroom. The images and colors still POP on screen. We thought 3D was just a gimmick. Well, watching Avatar in 3D cured that. Since then we have watched the Shrek series in 3D, Alice in Wonderland in 3D, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and How to train your dragon and really enjoy the extra sense that we get. But this thing is great with it's apps and streaming capabilities. If this was a plasma it would be close to Pioneer standards. Blacks are black and whites are white.. no flashlighting or ghosting has been noticed. Just they best, even better than the Samsung C9000 series.
Picture quality, features, great lookin, and did I say great picture.

I get nothing but compliments on this display, just awesome. The only thing that I have found is sometimes I get a bit of judder, and sometime I have some problems with Netflix, but that maybe on the Netflix side. Great TV, love it.

I wend from a 1080i 50in Vizio to this unit, it is night and day. My wife surprised me with this for my birthday, I have had it for almost a full month and would love to get another one for the master bedroom. I was shocked as well how thin the unit is, it looks great mounted on the wall. After getting everything setup and watching some of my favorite blu-rays, it was like I was watching them for the first time. The picture quality was so clear I was just speechless. The price can be a little high, but I think it was worth every penny. I would give it a 5 but the picture skipping keeps that from happening, I am glad it doesn't occur when watching my blu's.
