I purchased this TV about 8 months ago and can say I am happy with my purchase. The TV has a pleasing sleek design that looks good when the TV is off, and doesn't take away from the picture when it's on. The picture is very detailed and seems to reproduce colors accurately. It is also a Smart TV which is nice to have although I prefer to use my gaming systems for those things.
On the down side, the viewing angles could be better. The picture is still viewable, but it does get washed out when off to the side or above or below the TV too much. The stand does swivel though and in most standard viewing situations it won't be noticed. The other downside is the slight light flashlight effect in the corners. Sue to this being a edge lit TV it is somewhat of a defect of the product design. If you are able to control the majority of the light in the room though the effect won't be much of an issue assuming the TV is calibrated.
Overall, I would recommend this TV for the $1000 I purchased it at. I also think this TV is no longer the current model, but I would suggest looking at Samsung's other LED TVs.
