Stellar image/sound quality, Blazing fast load times (faster than PS3!), "3D Capable", Great internet content, Unbelievable price tag for the features
Cons
No built in wireless, No onboard memory, Some people complain about the Netflix quality
Review
This is an all around amazing blu-ray player, the load times are insanely fast (faster than both the PS3 and the OPPO in CNET tests) and the image/sound are just stunning. I have not had a chance to truly crank the available audio as I don't have an HD capable receiver just yet, but the dts/Dolby 5.1 downmixes sound better than my DVDs ever did. The picture looks flawless and some of these discs almost make me feel like I am watching something projected on film.
The Player's menu is set up very similarly to the PS3 and is quite easy to navigate, although it does take some time to get used to for beginners.
The device also comes "3D Ready" which means that there will be another firmware update in the future that will allow you to play 3D content (providing you have a fancy 3D TV). This is a nice feature, and made me feel a bit better about my purchase knowing that if I ever get a 3D TV that this player will be able to make use of it, but honestly is a trivial and unnecessary feature at this point. Just a bit of "future proofing" for a very reasonable price tag.
The iPhone app ("BD Remote") works really well with the player, although it isn't overly practical, unless you're too lazy to get off the couch and get to the regular remote. It does have a text input function which is nice. It works over your home internet connection which is odd and thankfully works for me, but it would be a lot better if it operated via blue-tooth.
The internet content is great (Netflix, Slacker, Amazon on Demand, and a slew of others) and I understand that there will be more to come (like Pandora, the one I'm most looking forward to) via firmware updates. What will truly be great is when blu-ray players open up their own "App Stores" where you can just pick and choose what apps you want to run on there.
Some people on other review sites have complained about the Netflix quality, perhaps I just have nothing to compare it to, but the Netflix movies that I have watched on here look astounding. They load really fast and stream perfectly. The quality is far superior to upconverted DVDs, and is really promising for the future of streaming content (albeit rather bleak for disc based media). What you gotta look for are the movies that are available instantly and have the little "HD" logo next to it. A vast majority of the movies in my queue (way too many letters in that word) are only available in SD and they look OK, but those HD ones man... hunt them down. I cannot wait for full 1080P/HD loss-less audio streaming content. The future is upon us.
The only real "cons" I can think of are the lack of built in wi-fi and onboard storage. The easy solution to the internet problem is the purchase of a wireless USB adapter or to hardline the machine via the Ethernet port (my setup). Easy fix for the memory issue (for BD Live content) is a flash drive.
Overall, this may be the best player you can own for the price tag. Such a great player and for about $150 less than what the PS3 will run you, after all is said and done, well worth the investment if your not dying to play $60 video games. Very satisfied and highly recommended.
Plays bluray, dvd, mkv discs, mp4 disc, wma, pretty much everything I can throw at it. Bluray disc loaded up very fast, no lag.
Cons
Very small eject and play bottons. Build was somewhat cheap. Didnt have the heavy high quality feel. Avi files have to be rename to .mp4 for the player to recognized and play it. Netflix hd requires 10 meg or higher internet. Remote felt cheap.

I returned the sony bdpn460 bluray player from sony to get this one as I wanted the 2010 model and read it can play mkv disc and was 3d ready. I was not dispppointed with this player. It can play pretty much everything I had burned on dvd disc collection. I had a bunch of mkv and mp4 movies on dvd and was surprised that it can play them all. It can also play the files on my 8gig usb stick. The netflix hd looked great, way better than dvd and close to bluray. Sd netflix was just a hair under dvd quality. I had not had any issues with the netflix other than I can only play what is on my instant queue. Hopefully there will be a firmware update so I can search by genre on netflix. Other than netflix there was a bunch of other services like youtube, pandora, amazon video on demand that I didnt have a chance to play but will keep others occupied. Overall this player exceeded my expections as a bluray player and mutimedia device.
Slim, 3d ready, fast start up, Internet capabilities, good price point.
Cons
No WiFi capabilities, you need long runs of Ethernet cable, had to buy external memory, cheap but a hassle.

I use this player with my projector and find the picture quality superb on a 120 inch screen. This is one of the first 3d capable players and it plays flawlessly, not on the projector you need a 3d TV (yes I have one and the player works great). To make this review short and to the point, it may lack some of the newest features but the price is right and the quality is high. Do I need to say anything more?
Fast, slim, has 3D, has Internet, and makes everything, even DVDs, look better.
Cons
Nothing. It has no built in WiFi, but I could care less about internet, I just want to watch my movies.

So far I love this product. It starts up pretty fast and is very quiet while playing movies. I can't believe how great it makes all of my movies look! It even enhances the quality of DVDs! If I want to play some videos I've made on my computer, I can just put them on a flashdrive, plug it into my Blu-ray player, and I can watch them on my TV! That's much easier than burning them onto a DVD. Everything about this Blu-ray player is awesome, it never fails me!
Smoking fast load times! 3-D firmware update was a breeze, excellent PQ.
Cons
WiFi not built in, but I couldn't beat the price

I originally bought this for the load times. I was not that interested in 3-D at that point and wasn't worried about the internet. I can really appreciate the 3-D capability having recently purchased a new 3-D plasma set. The internet issue was quickly taken care of with a Western Digital Livewire that now has my TV, Sony S470 & reciever all on the net. Playback whether BR or SD is superb!
