Really powerful, easy to set up and use, really crisp, and cheap!

No auto calibration...

I had the 6.1 Sony before this without HDMI connections and I loved it but wanted to upgrade. I definitely am not disappointed! I was a bit disappointed that there is no auto-calibration but I figured it out relatively easily. The 7.1 sound kills!!! Excellent system for the price! The wife figured it out immediately and definitely appreciates the seven channels of craziness. I wholeheartedly suggest this one!

this is a great receiver. It powers my 7.1 system beautifully. Very dynamic sound on hd dcs mode and it has pretty decent features that really make it in a class of its own at its 229 introductory price. Get this unit if this is your price range, you will not be disappointed.
