Yeah, they're AKG K701. I've tried out a lot of pairs in the $300 range, and for my preferences these were absolute winners. The detail and clarity is unmatched at this price point. If I were to upgrade I'd go for the Sennheiser HD700 (they retail for around $650 here), but I ...(more)

If I were to upgrade I'd go for the Sennheiser HD700 (they retail for around $650 here), but I really don't enjoy using headphones enough to warrant such a purchase. So the k701 are all I need (less)

I totally understand what you mean .. infact thats the reason even I did not paint the room dark Yes, the sound bars are to minimize the light reflections off of the ceiling. Also, I felt that they even reduce the amount of sound peeping into the room ...(more)

Also, I felt that they even reduce the amount of sound peeping into the room upstairs. The black carpet on the floor is to reduce the light reflection as well. (less)
Holy crap man!!!! That is one EPIC collection!!! I'm an avid movie and collectables fan as well - but I try to stick to the hot wheels movie cars - am really into the Retro Entertainment range they're doing at the moment - much more affordable for me!! But your 1:18s just take the WIN!!!
