a piece of del Toro's maturation

Any fan of his art should surely check this quality spin on a vampire tale out. As always Criterion's V/A is above average, though I was a bit disappointed in the lack of extras. But I suppose if there were any featurettes or any additional footage available it would have been included so we'll have to make do with what is included. Any who, I strongly recommended this film if you’re a fan of Guillermo’s work, and/or enjoy watching intelligent horror/fantasy cinema. Cheers
