Former U.S. Marshall Wyatt Earp's plan for peace, quiet and prosperity misfires when he, his brothers and the
outrageous rogue Doc Holliday encounter that ruthless band of outlaws, the Cowboys.
This is one of my favorite movies of all time and the BD did not disapoint. There were a few not so great scenes as far as the PQ was concerned but 90% of the movie looked great and the audio was outstanding. Tombstone is definitely a solid BD purchase. I did not look at the extras, that's why I put n/a.

Review
I want to start this review off by saying I have very limited experience with Asian cinema. Most of my exposure to Asian martial arts films has come from American or Americanized films. So, that being said, take my review with a grain of salt. The only reason I am reviewing this at all with my limited knowledge is that no one else has and there is not even a synopsis for the film on this site. With all of this in mind, this film was very strange for me. I couldn’t tell if it was supposed to be a comedy or an action movie. The film style was similar to the Grindhouse presentation in the theatre, with that old movie feel. Some scenes however looked like there was a white film over the lens and it was very distracting. None of the humor was funny to me but maybe because I’m not used to this style. The special effects and sound effects seemed very low budget and the audio was only presented in Dolby Digital. When Tony Jaa finally showed up in the film, which is the reason I bought it in the first place, there were some very nice fight scenes. I ended up liking the movie for some reason but I’m not sure why. I couldn’t stop watching it, maybe because it was just so unusual. I would definitely recommend renting this first if at all possible. I didn’t look at the extra features, that’s why I put n/a.

This movie breathes new live into to the franchise. The last movie was 12 yrs ago and this installment really brings the franchise into the new millenium. I loved this movie and am glad that Bruce Willis agreed to be in it. The movie would not be the same without him. I didn't expect much from this movie since I had never heard of it and it wasen't even released in US theatres. I got it through a buy 2 get one free deal from amazon UK. It has a good cast and is overall a pretty good movie, its worth watching anyway. The PQ and AQ were great, the landscapes and scenery were beautiful. I didn't watch the extras but there is only a behind the scenes feature and that's it.

This film was remastered beautifully, the PQ and AQ are excellent. This movie wouldn't be consdiered very good compared to today's standards due to acting and dialouge etc., but since it is a true pioneer of the genre it will always be one of the greatest horror movies of all time. Paramount really spent alot of time and effort on this transfer, you wouldn't know it was from 1980 if it weren't for the clothing and hair styles. The dark scenes were admittedly a little grainy but the rest of the movie looked great. I don't understand why they can't make all old movies look this good. This is reference film that all other studios should compare their movie restorations to. I don't want to hear anymore excuses about something being an old movie and thats why the picture isn't up to par. Paramount has proved it can be done, so hopefully we can expect more titles of this quality, atleast from Paramount. I didn't look ath the extra features, that's why I put n/a.

I love this rock opera and the movie but the picture quality was very disappointing. The audio was exceptional, which I guess is the most important thing for a musical but I really expected alot more from the PQ. I was really excited to get this movie on blu ray because I only had it on full screen dvd, and it was worth the purchase at 14.99 but the PQ was not any better than the dvd version and it may have been worse.
