The brown unit goes with the rest of the furniture in the room...but it's a temporary solution. We've thought of having a custom unit created for the space, but we are also planning on painting some areas with accent paint, so things are still up in the air. And, yes, we are definitely interested in getting some type of lights to accent the area and create a cool effect. ;o)

looks good but I find the brown unit kills the clean look of it. Have you thought of making a custom white rack unit in there ? maybe add some dioder lights in it to give it a cool effect!

Its nice the way you managed multi-channel sound in that area. Like your big TV !

It sounds good... The center speaker isn't completely hidden and I used the receiver to 'up' it's output to match the other speakers. And, as far as the subwoofer goes, it actually kinda amplifies the subwoofer making the 'cubby' a subwoofer itself.
