Very nice room, i wish i had a room for HT dedication. But a little advise you have your speaker too close together. The rears for sure and the fronts can be speak out a little more. There's alot of 7.1 systems on here so you can have a base line. Good job tho.

Polk awesomeness. The 7.1 Monitor's setup looks very nice.. The front towers could be spread apart a bit to get a wider stereo image. You may want to upgrade the sub sometime in the future. The psw 10 only has 50watts of power and can't really do justice to bass heavy bluray's like War of the Worlds.

Thanks guys! The room is 12' X 16'. I thought about a front projection system, for a moment - but thought the room too small. BMWAL - yea, the rear and sides are closer than I'd like - but the setup on the Onkyo allowed me to create the spacial separation (in sound setup) I needed, to compensate for the room size. We only use it for Blu-Ray movie watching - which is great. No windows; fully enclosed room. I painted the ceiling and the walls - to enahce the viewing experience. @Thor - yea, the Polk Audio Speakers are amazing! I've got a more typical setup in the game room (57" Hitachi; Kenwood SS 5:1 receiver; Sony Multi-Disk DVD; Technics Front, Rear, Center -- Sony LFE. That system is also connected to one of my Comcast Cable drops as well. I've just uploaded another folder with a few pics from that room.

Looks like a nice system/room for HT escapism. Room dimensions? It looks wide & deep enough for a front projection system in the future.
