Wes a company did not design my theater, it is a DIY build. And as far as sweetspot, I am guessing you mean a 3rd chair in the center of the first row?, if so you are misinformed about what a sweetspot is. Truthfully dead center of a room is not a sonically optimal position to be sitting in.

Very nice, it seems all companies that design Home Theater don't put a chair in the sweet spot?

Swede, The DVD's were stacked like that at the time of the picture. The equipment/media room to this day still isn't fully finished which is why I haven't updated the pics. A quick note if you are going to build a theater, DONT HANG THE PROJECTOR until EVERYTHING is done...lol really slowed down progress down there after the main room was finished and summers nice weather came.
I will answer your money questions and provide you any help you need with your own projects via PM's.

You are very welcome CollinViegas. No you are right I have not heard those exact speakers, and being their very high-end line I'm sure they are not bad sounding in any way! It just makes me cringe every time I hear the brand name, having heard several of their mid-to-high-end speakers and subwoofers ;-)
Say what you want about the brits, but they DO know their speakers!!
Would it be totally out of line to ask the ballpark of your total investment in your HT? I'm just curious as to what I can expect when I do something like this myself, because I WILL have this one day!! (insert dark grim laughter)
Oh, one other thing I have to ask, are all your DVDs really just put on top of eachother the way it looks on the picture? How do you get one out of there without the whole thing coming down?

Thanks Swede for the compliments... Quick question though, Have you heard the Klipsch THX series playing a film soundtrack? I have owned many speakers from Def Tech to Martin Logan to Dynaudio to Totems.
The THX system performs much better than most of Klipsch's other lines of speakers. None the less, thanks again for your compliments.

Wow, awesome home theater setup, Very impressive!!
I especially like how clean everything looks, no cables, no equipment visible etc, good job! Nice frame surrounding the screen also.
Now this is how my home theater will look one day in my future house
The only minor "complaint" are the Klipsch speakers. Really, they are not worthy of your theater man :-) Replace with quality B&W or KEF reference series for perfection

I have 2 manual masking panels I made that I use, however an automated masking system is something that will eventually make its way into the theater.

My equipment room is to the left of the theater. The PS3 and X360 controllers work without a hitch, the Wii on the other hand... I have the wireless bar that I place below my screen on a stand I made, I dont leave it there always only when in use.
While it does work sometimes it gets a little glitchy, currently I am thinking of taking the Wii out of the theater because it just isn't used all that much but it can easily be done.

Great setup... One of the nicest I've seen. Question. I'm still kind of new to a lot of these things but I have all the same game systems. How do you get the
controllers to "see" them being tucked away like that? Especially the Wii... I have the perfect area for my components but didn't want to do it until I figured
out all the logistics.

ZedsDead, right now I am content with my system but I have started setting money aside for next year. The plan is to add a D-Box system to the front row and upgrade the projector.
Also not pertaining to equipment, I want to get a night sky mural airbrushed by and artist on the ceiling.

I'm drunk with envy, congrats man. Gorgeous setup, pretty much what my ultimate incarnation would look like if money and space would allow. Not that you need it, but I'm sure you have a upgrade plan somewhere down the road, curious as to what it might be.

I understand, most of the time anyone who gives you less than a 10/10 rating it's probably a mistake. Because the rating is by 5 stars except when you try to record your rating you have to do it out of 10. Again I love the carpet, I was limited on cash with mine so I had to get what Lowe's had in stock because I used their interest free financing. I like my carpet, but I like yours waaay more!

Thanks DAMNSAM77. The Carpet is from Mowhawk, it's called "High Rise Retreat" and the color is "Ebony Polish". I turned off the ratings to try and coax people into leaving comments instead. I have had too many people leave a 1 and no comment and alot of people leave a 10 and no comment. Since the rating system is rather worthless in my eyes, I would rather hear what forum members have to say so we can learn from eachother.

Me Likey!!! Badass set up dude, I think I may have seen your theater on AVS! Very clean, and I love how you designed your stage steps, very original design, carpet color and pattern are amazing too. Where did you find your carpet? BTW, I wanted to rate your gallery, and it says you had turned the rating off. For the record 10/10
