B&W Setup (20 photos)Welcome to the lounge...Uploaded Jun 18, 2010 02:25:29
This is my cozy basement HT room. A great place to catch a new release, an old favorite, or just kick back and listen to some music or do some gaming. 11 x 16 x 7 makes for a small to medium space with some really large sound.
Here you can see the front soundstage with the grills on. The Plasma is a Samsung PN50B860. The picture quality is aces. NakedUploaded Jun 18, 2010 02:25:24
The Bowers & Wilkins and SVS make for an imposing front wall of sweet sound. Bowers & Wilkins 683Uploaded Mar 07, 2010 16:56:41
These fronts deserve more praise than I can give them. For movies they are up front, powerfully dynamic, and with the center deliver a huge soundstage. For music they are honest, meticulously detailed, and a pure joy. The imaging regardless of what you are listening to is incredible. Listening to music in Pure Direct mode you'd swear the sub is on, but it's not. My teenage daughter told me that they don't sound like speakers, they just sound like music. I couldn't agree more. A 3 way center!? You bet! Dialogue is perfect, even at low levels. Love it! HTM61Uploaded Jun 18, 2010 02:25:34

Polk Audio OWM3's hold down the surround duty. They are great speakers for the money. I like them for the mounting options. They are out of the way but provide a big sound.
The sectional provides a comfortable spot for the whole family to enjoy. SVS PB12-NSDUploaded Feb 22, 2010 15:36:40
Great sub from a great company. Powerful, loud, distortion free reproduction into the hz teens. The Auralex GRAMMA it sits on helps clean up the bass and keep it in the room, not in the floor and walls. The Captains SeatUploaded May 15, 2010 00:31:14

Here you can see the shelves I put in for movies. Just high enough the little ones have to ask first .Denon AVR-4310ciUploaded Feb 22, 2010 15:36:43
This AVR rocks. Great power and loaded with features. Has the same scaler as the OPPO BDP-83, Audyssey DSX, networking capabilities and will play nice with just about anything. MusicUploaded May 15, 2010 00:31:11
I like to play my .flac files loud on the 683's. I can just put them on a USB drive, or the external I made from the 120gb PS3 drive I swapped out, and plug it right into the front of the AVR. Sweet PS3 SlimUploaded Feb 22, 2010 15:36:46
Blu-ray player, gaming console, media superhub. It's awesome. Also plays well with my PC. I upgraded the HD to 320gb. PS2Uploaded Feb 22, 2010 15:36:49
One of the greatest consoles of all time. My kids get more use out of it now, but I still like to play. This is one of the original launch consoles and still works great. Motorola DCX3400 and GamesUploaded Mar 13, 2010 16:36:43
It's strange to call the PS1 and PS2 games "old school" but that's about what they are now. I have a good collection of both, as well as a box of the "really old" goodies (NES and SNES).
The Motorola DVR is new and it's a large upgrade from their old box. This one has a dual tuner as well as a larger hard drive. It also has a "source native" output so I can let the ABT scaler in my Denon do all of the upconversion. Late Night CansUploaded Feb 22, 2010 15:42:21
Sony MDR-XD400. Good headphones with a 20ft (including extension) cord. Perfect for late night when the kids are sleeping. Cyron LightingUploaded Mar 13, 2010 16:04:32
I don't use the colors much but I do like the lights, I use the color you see here mostly. Ratings
