Philips 56" 21:9 Cinema HDTV. 2560 x 1080 resolution. Picture shows a 2.35:1 image.

Atlantic Technology 254.1 SR on-wall/in-wall surrounds...sealed-box, dipole surround speakers. 4" polymer woofer with 1/2" mylar tweeters. I use 4 of these for the rear channels.

Front right speaker and 10" sub behind. Also use a 12" sub behind the seating area for some extra ooommmhhh!

Center channel speaker fits perfectly in the IKEA Friel stand. It sits on a swivel stand so I can tilt the speaker up slightly towards my seated position.

Broadcast 1.78:1 image on a 56" 21:9 display. Image is equivalent to a standard 44" 16x9 tv.

Thanks fellas, kong73, yes regular tv results in black bars on the sides unless you want to use one of the crazy 'stretch' modes which I never do. I uploaded a new pic that shows this. I don't mind it so much for tv viewing or gaming, but I don't like it when watching blurays in 1.78.1 or 1.85:1 aspect ratio.

Thanks guys for all the comments. ilikemytoys, I will try to take some more pics soon. Tech-UK, yes 21:9 is cool, but I sometimes get fed up switching aspect ratios lol. 2.35:1 and 2.40:1 movies do look awesome tho. braaaay, it's an IKEA Friel cabinet- great quality, cabinet made in Germany, hinges in Italy. Sadly, IKEA no longer makes these.
