I don't pay for dish or cable service. All my HD broadcasts come over the air through a Tivo Series 3 decoder like the Eric Clapton PBS special pictured on the plasma above.

Very few KRP models were shipped before Pioneer announced they would no longer be making plasmas. This is one of the rare Kuro 600 models. I consider the KRPs more special than the other Kuro models because they are slightly thinner and have no internal tuner (which is superfluous for anyone like me using the TiVo or another DVR). Beyond that if you look around the plasma forum you will see what makes kuros so special.
Browndk26, I didn't want to pay for Tivo service either, but got hooked on the convenience of it. I bought a three-year-for-the-price-of-two-year plan shortly after I got the Tivo, and just recently the three years ran out and I opted to do the same three year plan all over again. It comes out to less than $10 per month, so that's not too bad. Definitely better than shelling out big bucks for dish or cable.
