Woaaaah that is a serious setup! Mucho like from this quarter! That Blu rack is truly a sight to behold- i'd spend more time admiring that collection than watching any of them! X-D I'm curious though; do the Amarays reflect light from the projector(s)? Or is it not an issue? Also, what does the Missis have to say about those rear channels being in the way ;-p

I sold both projectors (5010 and 7000) - replaced with a Panasonic AR100U for the basement theater (3D is not important to me) and added a 60" Panasonic Plasma for my living room.

the bluray king: I have a 134" Carada BW (1.4 gain) screen. The epson 5010 is a great projector. I prefer the BENQ W7000 for 3D though, it has less ghosting/crosstalk.

kevon27: The Denon receiver is already overkill for my theater, I'm in a condo so I don't normally play things very loud. I also have all my speakers set to small with 60hz crossover to the two BIC subs. I bought the headphones for evening listening, but sometimes I use them during the day too because I prefer the detail they have over speakers.

oh just wait till u get a copy of the dark knight riss on bluray lol watching that film will looks fantastic for sure on the epson 5010 u know i am saveing my pennys up to get that bad boy for sure nice setup what size screen u got there at the moment i am looking to get 120 inch elite screen fixed screen.

Bro.. With all those speakers you may need to invest in an external amp.. Emotiva, Outlaw Audio, Rotel.. The Denon may not be giving you the full potential of the speakers.

I bought the "Now Play Stand" years ago, I don't remember where it came it from. I tried Google and found other places that have some similar, like HTMarket.

My room is around 30' so I had plenty of space to try out different viewing distances. I'm around 12' or 13' which works great for me - for movies and gaming. When friends come over they have no problems watching movies, however they have trouble with any gaming.
