Hi, here is my home theatre located here in Mallorca, Spain.

It's actually a fairly simple setup:

Here is the list of all the gear:

Speakers (7.1)
Front L&R - B&W 684
Centre - B&W HTM-62
Subwoofer - B&W ASW610
Surrounds B&W VM1
Rear surrounds - B&W LM1

A/V Receiver: Onkyo TX-SR 876
Blu-ray player: PS3 slim
PC: Mac Mini

Projector: Panasonic AE4000
Screen: 128" Carada Criterion Brilliant White (2.35:1)


The room is not finished, I need to get brand new cables (the current visible ones are just temporary), new curtains and a rug. Maybe some acoustic treatment would not be a bad idea either, especially for the low frequencies to sound a bit better and more defined.

This is by no means a high end dedicated room but watching movies there is a lot of fun.

As mentioned before, I am waiting for a professional installer to come and change all the wires and make it all tidy. I am planning to get nicer black shelves for that wall too, so this is all temporary.

It does let me watch movies for the time being so that's good.

Nice setup. i have something thats somewhat similiar, i have the htm61 for center channels and two 685's for my left and right and the panny AE3000U.. its funny that you live on the other side of the world and our setups are of similiar tastes.

nice setup, wasn't expecting the big screen. I do have a question though, ASW 610 sub, i have one and it went pop after a month, got it exchanged and wondering how you have it setup. I have mine with 685 rears, 683 fronts & HTM62 center running of a denon 3808 on a 50" panasonic. I have the sub running at 80hz (through the receiver) at around 1/4 to on the volume. Every thing else at default. I find it very powerful especially if i slightly turn it up, but my main concern is with The Dark Knight Rises, the first sub was boomy, the second sounds just right. Like i say how is yours setup?

If you are having any problems with echo or flutter, a large rug and auralex studio foam on the walls will take care of it. Used it in ours and it eliminated it all.

Everything has come together great. One of the best upgrades I did to my theater was getting dark colors on the wall. I painted the front wall and ceiling a flat black which cut down reflections all together. My side walls are a oatmeal color. It blends really well and makes the room very dark with the lights out. Enjoy the remodeled theater. It looks wonderful!!

Love the projector and screen. Nice setup I am also using the B&W LM1 for surrounds, great speaker. Very nice start.

Why are your waiting for a screen? Looks good to me... I was going to get a screen also but i went for some expensive wall paint instead.
