Different angle of the HT/Man-Room to reveal the poker side of things SeatingUploaded Dec 20, 2009 17:22:03
Seating arrangement - snagged these three reclining theater seats on craigslist for a steal! I have painted two high-back barstools for the riser that I am currently working on. The plan is to build the riser with a round barstool table in the middle - so when you want to eat and watch movies, you won't be eating on the leather seats. It'll also allow more seating. Here you can also see the RM6750 satellite being put to good use, using the paramount by peerless wall and ceiling mounting arms. KASR's RackUploaded Dec 20, 2009 17:19:25
The rack - it used to look fuller with the H/K AVR154, but now that I've got the Marantz slimline, everything has more breathing room - at first it took some getting used to, but it has really grown on me. Gear includes: Mitsubishi 60735, Marantz NR1501, Polk RM6750, Polk Monitor 50's, Polk CS1 Center, 2x Sennheiser RS120, Toshiba HD-A20, Xbox 360 Pro, Archos Media Player 504, Acoustic Research PW101 Home Theater front viewUploaded Dec 20, 2009 17:19:23
60" at about 12 feet away - I'm actually standing behind the theater seats and shooting over the backs, so the depth of the room looks longer. I've been playing with distance on the chairs and setting up the best possible sound-field. I've been thinking about which color to paint the interior walls of the room - but this is what it looks like at full luminance from the two torch lamps. Pan's Labryinth HD-DVD (1080p) - one of the last examples of this TV before my upgrade! Bedroom setupUploaded May 03, 2010 13:39:24
The Bedroom setup - modest, but functional! Looking to upgrade the source player to a Blu-ray player and eventually, I see adding a soundbar and perhaps moving the NR1501 into this area. Uploaded May 07, 2010 14:14:13
