Not only is your gear realy well put togeather the room is nocely finished, im sure after a day at work, being able to come home and sit in front of this is an absolute dream
One of my favourite set ups, I envy and congratulate anyone with these speakers, you seem to have a suitable finish. As a point of interest I am surprised you actually need subwoofers, I guess they lighten the load somewhat. how do the speakers sound on their own right?. Annd you like Sade, her voice is gorgeous.
We have som many equipment in common, how do you like your stands for the subs? How did they improve the sound? Can you email me the specs. Also your Oppo BDP-105 did that improve the sound compared to the BDP-95?
Thanks for the comments guys...really digging the new setup...more detail, less boominess, better bass control...watched a few concert Blus (King so Leon, Sade, Queen in Hungary), sounds sooo good, never want to stop!
Good Afternoon, sir. You have no idea how warm my heart feels looking at your very impressive HomeTheater. A huge smile slides across my face while looking at your B&W speakers. Especially the center channel which i have been looking for for a very long time. You are the man!!!!!!!!
That's some pretty serious kit you have there. I just finally found out what speakers like that would cost a person living in Canada. That's a pretty serious investment. ;-) Nice work.
nice set up really like it ... i have a question iM new @ this home theater stuff just starded my set is a amp really something u need and if so witch is a good one to start with thanks in advance ...
Thanks again guys! Just enjoying the new Wireworld wiring, it did bring a little more detail and open the midrange a little more...watched Inception the other night, fantastic!
Nice stuff. B&W makes great speakers at that level and McIntosh amps are very cool. By the way, those are Sound Anchors stands, not Sand Anchor. The company is about 60 miles from me. I had them make some some custom stands for me and I just went over and and picked up. Super nice folks.
Have you every considered bringing your TV and screen out so they're flush with the front of your speakers? Seems like the viewing experience would be better if they weren't so far away. I had Sound Anchors make a custom stand to support my Aerial Acoustics CC5 center channel speaker and my TV. The TV is mounted on an arm that positions it about 1" behind the front edge of the speaker. The CC5 isn't quite the beast the B&W HTM1D is, but at 22" deep and 97 pounds I still needed a custom stand for it, so I just combined the two. It mounts the TV about 4' closer to me than it would be if it were mounted on the wall.
Yeah I agree with another comment...How someone could rate this anything other than a 10 is beyond me this ranks up there with the best of them. Very impressed. You make way too much money
