AudioQuest NRG-5

NRG-5 uses solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors in a Self Shielding Counter-Spiral Hyperlitz. Solid conductors prevent strand interaction, which is the greatest single source of distortion in an audio cable or an AC power cable. PSC+ copper’s exceptionally high purity, nearly perfect surface finish, and refined interior grain structure dramatically reduce distortion compared to OFHC or other metals. The Counter-Spiral geometry minimizes conductor interaction while maintaining a fixed low-inductance relationship between conductors.

NRG-5’s two RF Stoppers filter Radio Frequency Interference in both directions. They prevent outside interference from entering the equipment, and they prevent equipment generated interference (from all digital equipment and tuners) from reaching other equipment in the system.

Thank you, kerface. The light is the same as on the first photo but the time of exposition differs. Thus such a change and difference. Yes, I like a fun with light. I can create some new atmosphere. I love it! Especially in the hot room :-)

You have a very nicely integrated home theater system.....Your furnishings and color schemes make it a very inviting space . I'd just worry a little about the speaker wire runs to your rears...

The room so very nicely decorated, complimented with the beautiful dark wood finish of the MA speakers and TV stand. Love the way the speakers integrate well with the rest of the room. Great job in setting up a multi-functional space with great gear for home entertainment.

I love your speakers. I was going to go with the Monitor Audio RS1 and RSLCR as my mains; but it would have been at the top of my budget. Still wish I would have bought them though. On top of the great sound and high build quality, they are beautiful speakers.

Excellent job setting up a fine 7.1 HT system. I am not familiar with Monitor Audio speakers but they have a high quality look. The speaker stands are very elegant too. I love of your seven speakers in the combo dinning/listening rooms. You did an excellent job of nearly matching the distance of the surrounds to match the distance of the fronts to the center sofa chair, from what I can determine in photos. It's hard to get it perfect though. The shorter distance of the side surrounds to the chair is still very good nevertheless. Do you guys flip a coin to decide who gets to sit in that chair? I can imagine that the sound is nothing short of top notch. It's beautiful!

Thank you 4 nice words and warning. TV set is wooden furniture made by Swarządz (factory in Poland). As for Onkyo this is TX-NR 905. One of the first in Poland - I bought it almost one year ago (2007). I love it though it is a nice idea to have TX-NR906 ;-)) Sorry, now I'm going to correct my Furutech plug. :-) Thank you Into_the_blu.

Beautiful setup! Classy and low key, just the way I like it. Where did you get that TV stand? Also you might have already taken care of it, but the "furutech" plug could be a fire hazard if it hangs out of the plug like that. I'd hate for that wonderful equipment to go up in smoke!

Well, the sound is perfect in this speakers. I've never felt this kind of acustic wave, really. Especially it concerns the bass. I love these speakers but everything depends on sound parameters that you set on equalizer and on dB set. The sound is perfect to my ears. Try it in the music shop to make sure :-)

Yes, I do recomend Onkyo!! Think about Onkyo 906 with its THX Ultra2 Plus and THX Loudness Plus technology! It's really worth while.
