The new front stage is almost done. Fireplace is installed Fresh new paint on the wall, trim and doors. The TV and speakers are mounted. I extended and routed all wires over to the other side of the door way. [3x HDMI 25ft, 1x TosLink 25ft, 2x Cat5 25ft, CoaxCable and all 7 speaker]

It's time to build a equipment rack since a got rid of the TV stand I could not find any suiting one for my needs. DIY

Check if everything fits. Just have about 23" space with the current couch. Top plate is still missing.

Finishing the construction.

Almost done. Top plate installed. Construction completed. Sanding, primer and paint is next.

Wire management pictures will follow. Have to order some shorter cables.

All these once plus the 3x HDMI and 1x TosLink to the TV above had to be installed new.

Wire management notes:
- PS3(to the left stand up vertical): HDMI to receiver, Ethernet to wall outlet
- Apple TV(to the right not in pic): Audio(RC Jack) to receiver, Composite Video to receiver, Ethernet to wall outlet
- Receiver: 7.0 speaker channel to wall outlet(Banana plugs both side), 0.1 subwoofer via RC to wall plate, 2 Zone 2 speaker channels to wall outlet(for kitchen, banana plugs wall side)
- Comcast HD box via HDMI to receiver
- Cable and FM antenna from wall plate to receiver and Comcast box

Love your wire management! You've done a great job of getting the max HT impact with the least disruption of your living area with your in wall and in ceiling hookups and speakers.

Thanks 76. Yes it's a 7.1 setup. In my other gallery you can see the rears and surrounds, 5.1 RM Polk and to additional rears from my old system. Currently the speakers are on stands and furniture until I instal all the wires in wall. Yes I from Jersey close to Philly. Big baseball fan. It's actually Jimmy Rollins ;-)

If the back of your ps3 in that confined area is closed off then that might be the reason your 40gb died. Give it more room to breathe than what you have. Otherwise I bet it runs real hot.
