Put that together this past weekend. I have some nice pine sheets that I want to put a light stain on and inset behind the legs, to hide some foam filler.
Amp for Aura Bass Shakers

This is an el cheapo sub amp that I got to power a pair of Aura Bass Shakers. I mounted a Shaker inside each of the two consoles. I cut a whole in the bottom of the left console tray so that I could just drop the amp in and mount it flush to the bottom.

My blu-ray shelf. I'll have to start a second blu shelf with my very next buy.
close up of how I have my rears mounted. The wires run behind the acoustic panels. The speakers are mounted by keyhole. I had them on mounts.. but they actually sounded a good bit better flat mounted.

This is the handle to a rusty old sword I have hanging for decor. It is reported to be a civil era sword found by one of my wife's relatives... but I have no idea how valid that story is. In any case... it's still pretty cool looking.

Because she is so awesome! She misses having her own little couch in my HT room since I upgraded my furniture. Since she's too special to lay on the floor on a dog bed, she now lays on the futon in my game room all by herself when we are in the HT room.

Pardon the Mardi Gras decorations. Finally got my wife's living room painted so that her new entertainment unit stands out better. I wish I could accurately photograph the richness of that espresso cherry finish... but alas I am a lousy photographer.
Dude nice setup and thanks for replying to my forum, i need to know the secret to hiding your wires the way you did. Hit me up with a PM and let me know
New entertainment unit? I haven't been by in a while so I thought I'd check you out. It looks like it was recently uploaded, so I'm guessing it's new. It looks nice, regardless.
Really nice HT set up you definitely get a 10 i love the seats love the Klipsch set up must sound amazing. do you notice a big difference with the sub riser? was thinking of doing the same thing.
@ derek re: the cat..... you don't know the half of it. She sleeps on my feet and when I move them she bites them. Every once in a while she gets mad at her own tail and starts growling at it and starts slapping, chasing and biting it. Her name is Spazz. It fits.
Great improvements! I love the main room now...decor is right up my alley. I really need to do something more in my room on the walls...I've got a good start, but I feel like I'm stumped.
@Yellow... that before pic of my rears was taken when they were my 5th and 6th channels, before I got my side towers and went 7.1. I may try to spread them further at some point, but I really tried to stay away from it. Those candle holders have been there for years and were a REAL PIA to hang straight in the first place, so I didn't want to move them. Projects like hanging stuff??? I get them done.. but they are the one time I wish there were a man in the house;) (You don't see the candle holders in that before pic because I had to take them down and figure out how to make them quit vibrating when I first graduated from my HTiB speakers to my Klispch)
hmmm... i actually like the before rear set up better. Sure, the one you have now look alot better but those rear channel are way to close to each other. It'd be like having a 6.1 system, no offend, i'm just really picky when it's come to speakers placement.
