Palpatine's Cinema Chamber

This is my home theater which was themed after Emperor Palpatine's office in the Star Wars Pre-quels. The room is acoustically treated with images of Coruscant printed on the acoustic panels. The Coruscant images were created from scratch by my designer. (Uploaded Nov 05, 2008 14:17:11)

Shhhh!!! Pass the popcorn!

As you can see, I really need Star Wars released on Bluray so I can enjoy it the right way. This is a scene off the standard DVD. (Uploaded Nov 05, 2008 14:17:19)

You may recognize this building from the films. (Uploaded Nov 05, 2008 14:17:29)

Projector in the stars!

The only piece of equipment in the entire room that is visible is the projector, but it sits among the stars. This fiber optic ceiling takes the attention to a starry night. (Uploaded Nov 05, 2008 14:18:02)

Sconces of the Dark Side

These sconces were designed and custom made. They resemble those used in Palpatine's office in the pre-quels as well. (Uploaded Nov 05, 2008 14:18:19)

Kids at the theater door.

As you can see the theater is named after our family and it also has a Star Wars themed signed. We watched Incredible Hulk on Friday night. Are you non-believers convinced this is my theater yet. Make sure you change your ratings. Yes, my theater has been featured in Electronic House magazine as well as many Star Wars sites. (Uploaded Nov 09, 2008 20:38:25)

Kids and their mess.

Yes, we had the previouse pictures taken by professionals, but as you can see these are without preparing for company. Does anyone still doubt me? (Uploaded Nov 09, 2008 20:38:40)

This has to be by far the coolest home theater set up I have seen on this site. I love it. It catches my attention in every picture. Very unique and creative. Very well done and clean looking. 10/10.

I just picked up the September issue of Electronic House; congratulation on the cover. I knew the theater the moment I saw it. It’s a great piece and it’s nice to be recognized for being so creative.

Congrats vader....I just saw this HT in the Sept 09' issue of Electronic House! I knew I had seen this set-up before and it didn't take me long to find it in here. Your equipment is incredible, and it was a nice little write-up too!

I have to agree with damnsam on this one - how anyone can give this less than 5 stars is unbelievable ?! The attention to detail is incredible, and it looks immaculate ! Even if there was a cheap HTIB in there hidden away as the main system, this would deserve a 5.

I want closes up of the hardware! I am somewhat jealous of the room however, I have always thought of doing a dedicated theater like the corridor of the
Death Star if/when I have that kind of money. But I want pictures of the speakers and closer images of the hardware! I postpone my rating till then.

I don't get how anyone would rate your theater with less than 5 stars (10 points)....A few even gave it 3/5....I guess if they can't have a theater as good as yours, they wanna rain on your parade...just pathetic. On the other hand, I thought my theater was cool, until I saw yours....PERFECTION! Great job dude!
