My new Valencia Tuscany home theatre chair. This is the version with the 11000 grain leather, which features powered reclining and headrest, as well as lumbar support. Extremely comfortable for that longer movie watching.

The steering and master control mechanisms were upgraded to a Logitech Harmony Elite remote. Easy and seamless to use and looks the part as well.

In this shot is the ultra-sophisticated Anthem AVM70 preamplifier/processor. The AVM70 and the P5 make a perfect marriage.

The Anthem AVM 70 preamplifier/processor is my new next generation processor. Wouldn't go with anything other than the Anthem AVM series for such a responsibility. Here it is featured with BDR Sound's carbon fiber cone/disc combo footers for maximum detail and electrical drainage.

Each channel is self-contained on its own glass-epoxy circuit board and heatsink. Since there is no common audio path between channels there is a complete absence of crosstalk.

The Anthem MCA 2 plays little brother to the Statement P5. This unit replaces the Outlaw 7500 for the surround back speakers adding to the synergy of the full Anthem/Klipsch sound.

The Anthem Statement P5 is Direct-Connected to the power supply capacitor bank. This keeps output impedance remarkably low while making more power available to the amplifier even when driving lower or complex impedance loads.

An evening shot just after a movie viewing. The P5 remains warm to the touch even when watching at low to moderate listening levels. By the end of the movie the room is definitely warmer.

Anthem Statement P5 recently given a favorable review at a high end audio shop in Thailand by the shop owner seen along side in this photo. The shop is... W61-What's That Sound. This thing is indeed huge.

Here is the centerpiece of the system turned on after watching the first Blu-ray movie "Gravity". Sound was phenomenal to say the least. After the end of this rather short movie, the P5 was warm at the heatsinks. At idle it burns 340 watts.

If an output short circuit does occur, only the AC line breaker will trip—there are no fuses to replace.

Each amplifier channel features two separate and autonomous power supplies fed from separate transformer windings. The amplifiers are thus able to deliver stable, continuous power at maximum output, regardless of the number of channels being driven.

The P5 contains two-layer military-spec (FR-4-rated) glass-epoxy circuit boards feature plated through-holes and 2-ounce copper traces, promoting excellent conductivity. Extensive use of power and ground planes ensures exceptionally low noise and increased protection from stray electromagnetic energy— internally as well as externally from other devices.

I should have placed a bottle of Advil liquigels on the unit for this photo. Showcasing the Anthem is a new 3 inch thick block isolation platform from Timbernation on 8 black carbon mapleshades isoblocks. Dampening the top is HRS's large thick DPXII dampening plate. The amp rests on BDR Sound Jumbo Puck carbon fibre footers and carbon fibre shelf which draw internal vibrations of the unit turn that spent energy into heat and eliminate it.

The Panasonic DP-UB9000 unit acts as a transport to the Marantz 8801 pre/processor. The performance is further increased with the Synergistic Research Foundation 10 ac cord for a quantum leap in sourcing the rest of the system. The player rests on a 1.5 inch candy-apple red maple block platform from Timbernation which itself rests on vibrapod footers. The dampener above is the 7.1 lb HRS DPXII...their largest model. Footers for the player are three Black Diamond Racing LM2 Fatboy footers and a new BDR Sound 1.25 inch carbon fibre shelf giving the player pin point accuracy during playback.

The Anthem P5 and the Nordost QX4 are definitely an unbeatable duo when it comes to smoothness, transparency, and detail in sound.

The highly sophisticated Nordost QX4 power purifier with two Synergistic Research Element ac cords coming in and out of it to the processor.

Nordost's ultra sophisticated QX4 is plugged into the Blue Circle distribution unit and out of it plugs to the Anthem processor. It re-clocks the power and samples component noise that simultaneously rides the movie soundtrack or music from the disc, by neutralizing that electrical grunge on the recording. The results are astounding in total transparency between all sounds and frequencies floating in the room. Both internally and externally (via field generation) the QX4 fights EMI and RFI. Both such gremlins affect equipment especially large power amps such as the Anthem P5 right next to it. I strategically placed the QX4 in that particular spot therefore providing field cancellation for both amps and processor. Helps with the blu-ray player itself. Further to this it strongly stabilizes the picture providing improvement to color and deeper blacks.

The field generator portion of these units help neutralize EMI and RFI which smears the signal and distorts timing. They both purify the power to the component and re-clock the system.

From the movie "9" release 09/09/09. This is a short, but wonderful movie depicting a post apocalyptic world set in the 1930s.
Both picture and soundtrack are phenomenal. "9" contains the most powerful LFE in my movie arsenal eclipsing Cloverfield and War of the Worlds.

This is the Premier issue of Audio/Video Interiors magazine. Quite popular back in the day but no longer in print. This issue is hard to come by. A nice piece of AVS nostalgia

The Nordost Red Dawn ac cord powering the Blue Circle filter used for peripherals. The Red Dawn is the top ac cord in Nordost's Lief series category.

Each of the three Nordost power correction units are a separate technology from Nordost . Attacking power fluctuations and anomalies right out of the gate. All three including the Blue Circle Audio 4 plex parallel filter puck get their electricity from the Furutech GTX-NCF (R) duplex receptacle mounted on a Titan wall mount for added stability and isolation.

A shot of the Synergistic Research Element Copper-Tungsten-Silver ac cord plugged into the BC Audio PLC double puck wall filter all powering the BC Audio PLC distribution block. This power cord does it for everything with the exception of the subwoofer. Also in the top right outlet is the Nordost QV2 powerline harmonizer aligning for a linear current flow to the mains ac cord. This also helps to clean up the bottom frequencies. On the left side are the newer Nordost Q-Wave and Q-Sine. The Q-Wave is a much more focused version of the QV2 and dramatically re-aligns the current flow off the Furutech NCR outlet for a more detailed sound. The Nordost Q-sine power enhancer corrects any dithering issues, mainly associated with digital.

The Nordost QK1 line enhancer (not shown) is connected to the peripheral filter. This is responsible to stabilize any grounding issues. This also helps to clean up the upper frequencies.

The supporting cast for the massive SVS PB-13Ultra subwoofer consisting of Blue Circle Audio's 15x filter and Shunyata Research's Alpha HC ac cord. This ac cord is a tour de force supplying all the current and noise free power for the subwoofer.

Here is the back business side of the system being upgraded. The upgrades include the new Blue Circle Audio Power Line Conditioner. You can see right next to the new PLC is the older PLC now used for peripherals which include the active shielding power adaptors to the three Synergistic ac cords. All Blue Circle Audio products are non current limiting fully encased in silicone.

The Synergistic ac cord is tunable with three different tuning "bullets". Silver is fast and airy, Black is warm and mellow and Grey is tuned with a mixture of Silver and Black. I chose to attach the Silver tuning since I want my system for home theatre performance in which hard-hitting fast attack performance is best.

My largest ac cord is the Synergistic Research Element CTS-A (copper,tungsten,silver -analog) to power the Blue Circle Audio main distribution block. This is the top ac cord in my system.

The newest member of the Synergistic family of ac cords is the Foundation 12 powering the Anthem MCA2 amplifier. The Foundation 12 can be seen plugged into the low frequency filter coming off of the main distribution filter.

Nordost White Lightening interconnects supply signal to all seven channels. They are the perfect high end replacement for my affordable Blue Jeans Cable LC-1s. Don't need to go more expensive for Home Theatre than the entry level Nordosts. Also switched from RCA in the BJC to XLR in the Nordost. Big difference.

Four Synergistic Foundation 10 ac cords were recently added in February 2021 serving the QX2/5007 bluray combo and the Anthem Statement P5 multichannel amp which requires two ac's.

One of my ac cords is the Synergistic Research Element series Copper-Tungsten active power cord. There are separately shielded copper and tungsten cables running through it for maximum power transfer. The power supply plugs to the power line filter and the lead into the power cord itself for active shielding.

The new Synergistic Element Copper-Tungsten hyper-power cord. This monster AC cord is a scaled down version of their CTS-A monster ac cord running off the main outlet. The Element series is SR's 20th anniversary line which is a scaled down line from their limited edition Galileo uber-cord.

BC Audio's 18x Sillycone filter.

The Blue Circle Audio 18x Sillycone filter is the newest addition to BCAudio's filtration for my system. This powerful unit was bought to filter out all contaminated power for the main system. A separate 12x filter is used on the subwoofer free outlet.

The description here on Shunyata's SR-Z1 wall outlet should explain on the technology of the unit for maximum performance on the powerdrive portion of my system.

The receptacle is made from brass.

The Furutech GTS-D NCF in Rhodium configuration is the top power receptacle in Furutech's line up. The is powering the main front end which supplies power to everything except the subwoofer.

The build quality of this Furutech receptacle is second to none. It's regarded as the Gold Standard of power receptacles.

Surpassing it's two less expensive siblings the NCF is widely regarded as the best power receptacle for high end audio/video on the market today. The Furutech receptacles use pure copper mixed with either Gold or Rhodium. The NCF is their top product.

The left RF82 speaker from Klipsch shown without the front cover. These are great loudspeakers for any home theatre system.

With the RF82s, the RC52, and the PB13 Ultra operating in unison, the poor RS42s with the S2s could not keep up. One can say I was "under-backed." With the addition of the RS62s and the RS42s going to the support position, the back end can easily keep up with the front end. Immersion is now fully complete as there is simply no need for Atmos in this room. The RS62s can fully immerse the room with sound blending in with the rest of the system. Now my speaker array is complete.

The size difference between the 42s and the 62s is a factor of 3 times the volumetric measurements.

After watching War of the World's, Cloverfield, Pacific Rim, and 9, the SVS PB13 Ultra subwoofer combined with the Shunyata Research Alpha HC power cord proved to be a very powerful duo with liquid smooth, chest asphyxiating power. This combo really changes the way your movie experience is presented. In this photo I have moved the subwoofer parallel to the wall which uses the room for more efficient room/boundary pressure. The result is a smoother and deeper low frequency reinforcement which eliminates any LFE room hotspotting.

The 1kw Sledge amplifier is nicely put together and very easy to go through the submenus for set up. This unit has a top quality build and is very elegant.

White cloth protective bag just removed and the big Ultra is ready to go onto the Auralex Great Gramma Pad.

The 13.5 SVS proprietary driver weighs 56 lbs according to the SVS technician I spoke to. This is more than most subwoofers out there. The surround is made of Santoprene...a mix of Polypropalene and Rubber. It is very solid to the touch. Three tuning ports can be plugged. I have the middle port plugged and set on the amplifier's DSP settings for the one port plugged configuration. This is the best setting for ultra deep extension and absolute power.

Overhead view of 155 lbs of Capital Punishment. This monster packs 1000w of continuous power and 3600w of dynamic thrust. Once this thing fires at reference level not even a call from the Governor will save you.

During action movie time the Federal Government is on high alert when this thing fires.

Wow, I love your setup. I bet it sounds amazing. I have never seen cables that thick before. I sure they cost a bit of money. Do you have 1 Subwoofer are is it 2 in your setup?

Hello Beyond 1000. We have similar taste when it comes to choice of manufacturer(s). Marantz (check), Sony (check), Anthem (check), Panasonic (check), Klipsch (check). Of course, your devices are at a higher level of performance than my ensemble. Your whole setup looks outstanding. The addition of the Logitech Harmony Elite remote should greatly improved system functionality. I'm using the URC-890. A nice remote, and no doubt, a very functional device. However, the programming as a whole, is arduous process. The complexity of the programming is a pain, but due to it's Custom Integration status (Authorized Dealer Only), it took a lot of effort and time (it's not who you know, it's who knows you) to acquire the software. Obviously, it's needed in order execute any modifications if there's an addition and/or change out of a device. If I had to rely on a technician to do any additional programming it would be costly. I see you have upgraded your TV to a Sony 75X85K LED (nice model) and added the Panny 4K beast UB9000, arguably the best 4K player available. Of course, with all of the vibration isolation platforms and the addition of Vibrapod feet under the devices (and everything else), I'm confident that your provisions are providing resonance free playback. The clean current applications that you've incorporated must be yielding dynamic sound and a very clear picture on your LED. Your efforts to achieve that best performance and protection for your setup is impressive. Congrats on your accomplishment.

I just want to thank you for your comments on my system. Also, FYI if your amps get warm you might consider using AC Infinity AIRCOM T10, S10 Cooling Fans on them. I have them to cool my Marantz Mono Block amps and they work great. They are very quiet and move a lot of warm air to keep the amps cool.

Beautiful and impressive equipment setup. Love, Love, Love it! I have the Marantz AV7005 running my system with Marantz MA500 and MA700 powering the Klipsch speakers (all I could afford) I would have loved to get the AV8005, but it wasn't in the budget

Thanks again Tommy. I just wanted to finish the connections, this time going for 4 Synergistic Foundation 10 ac cords to complete the job. Got BDR sound CF footers for the Anthem and next on the list will be going 4k in a Panasonic 9000 with projector.

Thanks for the kind words. I could of picked one of the bedrooms, but I didn't like how the layout was so I took the smaller room. I think I did a great job, I just need to get a BIGGER TV in the very near future. I also plan to make the living room a 3.1 once I get another receiver.

You have a VERY nice system. Very impressive, however one detail you keep posting is incorrect. The outlaw 7500 has a total transformer va rating of 2kva. Not 3.2kva as you have stated. The 7500 has two 1000va transformers. The 7700 has a total of 2.5kva, and even the mighty 7900 has a total of 3kva (2 x 1500va transformers). This is straight from the horses mouth (Scott at outlaw audio), as I was reasearching these amps in consideration of purchasing one of them. Not meaning any offense, just thought I'd clear this up.

Hey Kev. Glad you like your products. My interconnects are Blue Jeans Cables LC-1. The sub cable is internet direct here in Canada where I live. It didn't cost much at all. I looked at Synergistic R. and felt they were too overpriced for a sub cable. I'm happy with what I have and its great you are also happy. There are a lot of systems in BR.com that are nicer than mine. Down the road I would like to get into better speakers but I'm waiting for the 4k stuff I mentioned in my long post. Cheers

For interconnect cables, I use good ole ultra high cables from monoprice.com. They add a three dimension footprint to the mid range. And my power-cables are made in some sweatshop in China. Those cables make the low end in my subs really tight and punchy.

Thanks for your comment Kevon. I will weigh it against all the other comments below. All my products use a no-stop approach for the best conductivity and sound. Good AC power cords work very well and if you want to use the made in China junk that comes with what you bought then go ahead. I see by your account you have no photos of your gear. Obviously you haven't heard my system to see how it works. The old adage applies here in that jealousy will get you nowhere. Do you use filtration? Let us know what you are using. I'll leave your post here for others to look at as it laughs at THEIR opinion also.

I would like to take this opportunity to simply THANK all of you for your kind, flattering, and inspiring comments. My efforts pay off not only by the performance of this system but by also your feedback in that I'm doing things right. Many of you have fantastic set-ups in your own and a lot of the upgrades have been inspired by some of you. This February (2015) I just re-visited Batman The Dark Knight and I myself still cannot comprehend what this system can dish out. I'm not talking just about power but also about quality behind the power. No matter how much power I try to dish out in my 1700cf room there is no listener fatigue and that is my aim. The subwoofer now behaves like an extended speaker. Adjustments are done on both PEQs with lower register frequency gains and with an adjustments on the Q-Factor with respect to the size of the room. Transparancy is incredible with sounds and frequencies floating in their own space. Some ideas floating for the future are....a new pre-amp such as either Outlaw Audio's new one coming this year or one from Marantz. (Other recommendations are kindly welcome on this). I would then need to get a either Outlaw's 2200s as monoblocks for the surround backs or Emo's small two channel. (Recommendations from you needed here). I will definitely stick with the Outlaw 7500 for the five main channel Klipsch Reference speakers. I am also waiting to see what's in store for a UHD Blu-ray player coming the fall of 2015 from Oppo, Cambridge, or Marantz. I would definitely want a more reference quality player to match the rest of the components. The Samsung has faithfully supported me well. If I go with Oppo or Cambridge top players I would so to continue to utilize the discreet DACs through a multichannel analog input connection. The maple block for the Blu-ray player may be replaced with Synergistics Research Tranquility Base. (Honest recommendations and opinions on this weather it's worth it or a complete waste of money). The multichannel amp will rest on a VTI amp stand with the maple plinth on top of the stand. A decorative 4 ft high room divider to cover the fireplace which is not used will happen. Lastly, down the pipe will be a 75 inch UHD tv set. I am strictly going for sonic quality and as such I am not interested in 3D audio such as the likes of Atmos, Auro, and DTS-X. In short for this size of room overhead speakers are not needed and would only be overkill for nothing. Any recommendations you all may have would be greatly appreciated. I don't have all the answers myself. Thank you again for your input.

Beyond 1000 - Not sure why somebody in February gave you a 3 out of 5 rating. There is nothing I don't love about your system. Your hard work shows and this room is an absolute showpiece in BR.com. Great job! It's all relative to what you consider a 10, a 5 or a 1. Some people might look at my room with contempt because it's missing some key element. Others look at the sheer effort you put in a room and consider that more of an achievement. I don't put too much stock in these rating's, but it is nice to hear comments like yours every once in a while. By the way, Beyond 1000, nice job on your room as well - Killer cables, stands and plinths.

I don't even know how I would explain that to my friends. lol.. I sold my entire home theater system, and now only have two black SVS PB13-Ultras. How do your Klipsch speakers sound for Home Theater movies only? I have been looking into them

The speakers and main components are beyond reproach and could easily be a poster child for a High End Home Theater done Right. beyond 1000, Very nice system - clean layout and very nice. Love the Nordost powercords. I also use Blue Circle PowerLine Conditioners. I had a PLC Thingee FX2 for 3 years, before upgrading to a 10 outlet GICPO which has the equivalent of 12X filtering. I also have a 18X Sillycone filter plugged into the GICPO. My whole system is fed by Wireworld Silver Electra Powercords (2M & 3M). Huge difference when I tried a Silver Electra on my AMP, I havent looked back - I have them everywhere. You have inspired me to take some pics and add them online. Again, awesome system!!

Hey man, great pics of your system. I like the shots of the insides of the amp and the sub. Your choice in cables and hardware are outstanding. Everything looks clean and professional.
