Wow, There is sooooo much to like about your room Bob. I like the shelves, colour, Speakers, roof and even the back curtain Very well done. Enjoy. Ta Dono
I always ask my self, what if I had gone the Paradigm route? Beatiful setup and amazing equiptment! I would love to hear what your speakers and subs sound like!
@mrmichaelbeck, Thanks it took a lot of hard work to get it installed. Its a timber frame with a thin sheet of MDF boarding wrapped in material wadding and matt black material. The holes were individually drilled and fibre optic lengths poked through one at a time. The light source was bought in from America and sits in the ceiling space. All up it took about 3 days of constant work but really hapy with the outcome. Don't think I'll do it again tho!
A fantastic setup that I have been fortunate enough to see and hear. The pics do not do this setup justice. The best home theatre room I have been in without a doubt. I know how much effort you have put into building this room - well done Bob!
And who in their right mind could hate this setup djflex40? Having hatred for any speaker, even Bose, is stupid and senseless. Speaker choice is a personal thing and if a set of speakers from company A does sound right to you, move on. Those speakers from company A maybe perfect for someone else.
Very nice room! Nice ceiling and CD/ Blu ray rack design. The room is very inviting. I am a Paradigm fan myself so naturally Anthem would be my preffered Receiver/ Amp combination for a speaker like the amazing Signature S8... I like the Canadians!! Great idea by moving the equipment away from sight, it is always anoying when you are watching something and a irritating red/blue light of an amp is in the corner of year eye... Great room and AWESOME speakers!!
