Home Theater (20 photos)Beginner GearUploaded Jan 19, 2010 15:14:18
Older setup that included HK AVR-254 and a mess of wires coming from receiver. Also note that speaker wire was not yet ran underneath the carpet. Emotiva package with ERD-1s and RCA cablesUploaded Jan 19, 2010 15:16:04
Prior to buying my current Def Techs I had plans to go with some Emotiva surrounds and Elemental Designs Towers. ERD-1Uploaded Jan 19, 2010 15:16:14
Setup with Denon AVR-790Uploaded Jan 19, 2010 15:16:53
After I sold my HK I picked up a Denon to see how it was. To be honest with you I was not entirely impressed. I felt it lacked the pop and depth that my HK had. Audyssey was legit though. Pic of old Yamaha surroundsUploaded Jan 19, 2010 15:17:45
Everything still in the box.Uploaded Jan 19, 2010 15:17:55
Up until this point I had my Elite AVR and Panamax sitting in my room in the box for about a month. It was damn hard not to open them up and play with 'em. I'm glad I didn't though. It was a blast opening up everything all at once. VSX-21TXH and M5400-PMUploaded Jan 19, 2010 15:18:04

Sub not pictured because at the time of the picture it was not in yet. As a result of so much damn power I returned the sub because I did not need it. Front soundstageUploaded Jan 19, 2010 15:18:42
No I don't want Pokemon, haha. Roomy was surfing when I was taking the pictures. View from the topUploaded Jan 19, 2010 15:32:24

Towers with a slight inclineUploaded Jan 19, 2010 15:32:56
The user manual for the tower stated that slightly raising the towers 3/4" will improve direction of audio. I thought I'd give it a shot. There surprisingly was an audible difference. Nothing huge, but definitely noticeable. Uploaded Jan 19, 2010 15:33:10

Old Yamaha HTIBUploaded Jan 19, 2010 15:33:59
Giving it to my brother as a house warming gift. As cheap as it was, I was more than happy with it's performance. Ratings
