Very nice setup. That Kuro has me jealous. Quick note on the Richard Gray. The Kuro is such an exceptional product any "power clean-up" improvements were probably not noticed. My 32" Haier flatscreen however showed marked improvements after I started using my Richard Gray Power Conditioner 400 Pro. Excellent product and once again, beautiful setup.

Meat, the Oppo is significantly better than the PS3 for upscaling standard DVDs. It also plays DVD-A, SACD and will bitstream the lossless codecs to my prepro. In terms of blu-ray playback, it's a wash - it's virtually identical between the oppo and ps3. You do get a lot more control settings with the oppo.

Looking at your Marantz gear makes my look fondly upon my old seventy's gear I now have in my guest room. Your system is in a word awesome. Some of the best gear I've seen on this site yet. PSB_Paradigm_HSU - If you are saving up for the HD800, you absolutely must have adequate amplification to drive them, or you'd be wasting your time, and more importantly - money.
