I have my 50" Panasonic PX80U wall mounted using a Monoprice mount and in-wall installation kit! Connected to my Pioneer Elite VSX-82TXS, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, DishNetwork HD, and a Monster HTS-5100 Power Conditioner. Rocking a 3.1 setup for now, Sony SS Floorstanding/Center speakers and Subwoofer. LOL
I have the same sony floorstanding speakers. Honestly I was quite disappointed with them when I got them home. the tweeter doesn't even do what It's supposed to do, I think they are way too bottom end heavy. (before I got the sonys I was running to vintage 8" speakers, they sounded crisper and more dynamic)
Have you considered disabling the tweeter by removing the middle speaker and disconnecting the tweeter bridge? I haven't gotten around to it but they don't sound bad as surround speakers.
I'm using a sony 6.1 avr
Currently I have a Panasonic dual 4" center channel, 2 pioneer 8"book shelf speakers in front with the sonys in the back. For my Subs I'm running 2 rockford 10"briged in a vampass box then bridged to a panasonic 6 inch vampass sub(these are passive subs made active). I'm driving them With a Panasonic amp by sending the sub out from the sony to a right stereo input and adjusting the gain.
Yes, I'm still rockin' the SONY's...they get the job done for a great price! When I finally finish my basement, I'm looking to get some Elemental Designs. But until then, I can only window shop.
I don't want to lag on with a gallery comment, but I got a question. I know it's probably going to be a simple answer, but, what brand of Wall Mounts would you recommend for a 32" 720p HDTV? You know, good sturdy ones. Also, what is the best way to have a nice, clean set up like yours? I see a lot of nice wall mounts, but there is a bunch of wires always hanging from the bottom and I would like to know how to prevent this.
Nice, simple, clean setup crackinhedz. Love the Panny Plasma and Pioneer Elite. I'm a big fan of the two if you check out my setup. Not as clean and simple as yours but working on it.
This is the first time I've seen your gallery. It's pretty rockin' indeed. I love how clean it is! I am a huge fan of clean and tidy. The hardwood floor definitely enhances that element.
ldgibson76, Im thinking about doing some in-ceiling speakers because I just don't have a good layout for surrounds. But for now 3.1 is good enough!
Eddie.Nyce, the color is called 'otter tail', its a light brown. Brings out the fireplace. Which by the way I just got propane installed today, so maybe an updated fireplace pic is called for.
