Hi kevon27. The only remnant of Polk Audio associated with the speakers is the cabinet. Everything else is different. The crossover and speakers are part if a kit from Madisound that I built into these cabinets. They sound super in this arrangement, and I stuck with the old cabinets since I was so fond of them. Fortunately the cainets were already the correct size and volume for the new speakers, so it was pretty easy to do the build. The drivers are better quality than the polks as is the crossover.

My bookshelf speakers are on some shelves I put up, but some people have talked to me about stands, and my room in person, just don’t look like I have room, but you did it, and I’m wondering why mine wouldn’t look right. I know I wouldn’t want my subs that close to the wall, but maybe they will be ok if I did, so I was just asking to make a judgment with what I might do.

@ landry P2000-I really liked the sound of the stack in the other room. The present set-up is in another room in my house with considerably less cubic footage. I can reach rediculous SPL in the new and smaller room (1/3 the cubic footage of the other room). Yes the bass i more balanced in the new room.
