The day I put my gallery back up on this site, you'll see all those Paradigm owners selling their gear on ebay and craigslist to upgrade to what I got.
I really am impressed with the Studio 20's which I am using for my rears, but I can't comment whether they would be any better or worse than your ADP 470's. My understanding with ADP's was that reflection was a big aspect to them filling in the sound stage and me having one irregular wall (juts out where fireplace is located) I chose to go with the direct radiating speaker type. We have almost the exact same system and everyone that has come over to preview my system have all stated they have never ever heard anything even close to my sound. I have a Paradigm Sub 15 and my room is 14' x 20' and I like the fact that you can actually feel the low base and LFE channel. The tactile sensation is second to none and really makes one feel they are in the sound stage. Some have stated that using a direct radiating speaker for the surrounds will allow you to pinpoint the sound directly behind you rather than giving a sence of the listener feeling that they are immersed in the sound field, however I don't see mine that way at all.
My new favourite movie is Rock of Ages plated at reference level 0db on my Denon. The music from the 80's which was my time growing up is absolutely amazing. If you haven't already checked out that disk you really need to give it a spin with your system.
Very nice system......I too have the same Paradigms except I'm running Studio 20's (V5) for my rears. I noticed that you have four wires going to your 100's. is that bi-wiring or bi-amped?
And you've got a seriously awesome setup and gear yourself my friend!!! Those Paradigms look, and no doubt sound, incredible!

DJ, the system looks fantastic. The 4th image from the last, showing a full frontal of the current configuration really reveals how well configured your system really is. Anthem/Rotel/Oppo/Paradigm.... I have nothing but the highest regard for your ensemble my friend. Outstanding!

Hello DJ! Wow, I see you have been busy! New Anthem AVM-50, and the Rotel pieces: Another RMB-1075, I presume? The RCD-1072 and RT-1080 are very interesting choices. Any difference detected in audio quality with 2 channel playback compared to the Oppo BDP-83?
I must admit, the new configuration looks formidable!
I see that you repositioned the XBox Slim on one of the subs. Did you do the same with the PS3? Do you plan on obtaining isolation pads for the gaming devices? The reason I ask is because of the vibration caused by the subs may effect the disc rotation within the player. Not a guarantee mind you, but could. An isolation pad would lessen/dampened the effect.
How do you like the new AVM-50? Is it yielding improved processing or audio quality over the modified AVM-30?
