The contractor and crew worked really fast to build the skeleton of the room. I left for work in the morning where the old roof line was still there. When I got home they had put up what you see in these first few pictures.

A view from the outside. They would have installed the roof on the same day but the rain kept them from doing that. It rained the next 2-3 days.

Hey the rain finally stopped and they got the roof on.

The room is shaping up. Next up...the conduit and wiring. Oh by the way, the room will be 18' x 17'.

The Mrs. wanted a second window added to the man cave...as you can see I lost the battle.

I asked for some extra lights and to have them on separate switches (lights near screen wall, lights in back of room and lights in middle of room).

Drywall is up and the room is finally starting to take shape.

Hey petew, Yeah, these guys are doing a great job with our entire house remodel. We are 2 months into our house remodel and maybe 1 1/2 months away from completion. The weather has been great for about a week now. I think that since they have completed the roofing that they can work more effectively and efficiently whether it rains or not. Wow...we need some of the dry weather you've been getting. Thanks again for replying on my room.

Yes, I agree that women do come up with ideas that we don't. I'm just anxious for the completion because I see her standing in the room looking around a lot. Me thinks she is making other plans.
