AmrlKJaneway, thankyou indeed for a most kind comment. Yea the 690 is a great card and has definately lived up to the hype that has gone before it. To get the full benefit of a card like this, it needs to run on a ultra high resolution monitor otherwise it can be an overkill in price, especially when using 1920 x 1080. I have tested this card on multiple monitors and when run on a standard monitor there is no difference compared with lesser so called descent cards like 1 680. But when i connected the computer with the 690 to a ultra high end monitor like the dell top of the line 30 inch model the 690 was justified. Some would argue this point but i know from personall testing that it works better when paired with quality products. I like to match the hatch. Thanks again for your kind comment.

Hey Thanks for the kind comments for my home theater! About projectors vs multi-screen, where alot of people forget, is FOV (field of view) or how you sit close to your projection screen, like you do with a monitor. FOV is the key; I always prefer using a wider FOV with a front projector set up because I can sit closer to the screen without the feeling of "tunnel vision". However, in console games in particular, where most people use a TV and sit far away, the FOV is rather narrow. Many PC games allow you to adjust FOV in order to determine where you are sitting, whether using a high fov (say 80-90) with a front projector or monitor, or a lower FOV (45-65) for a TV or sit far away from your screen. PC is far more suitable for front projection than many would like to think. There is a pretty good video regarding to FOV and the controversy behind it (including PC versions that are console ports), with an example of FOV at the 2:30 mark, unless you want to listen to the whole commentary. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPDq_qvsKUA&feature=player_embedded#!

Thanks Trogdor, i am using a projector with a hdmi cable direct to my Denon Avpa1hda processor and then hdmi from computer sound card(auzentech xfi 7.1 dtsma) to the computer source on my denon avpa1hda.The sound is mind blowing and the graphics are awesome.I have the dedicated room for gaming and movies so its worth using the projector as opposed to buying multiple monitors.Besides i am really not one for the look of multiple monitors side by side unless you dont have a dedicated room off course. My way of thinking is multiple monitors are a waste of money and i would rather throw my money on a great subwoofer. To me that is a wiser option to get the best possible sound as monitors are changing too fast and buying 3 or 4 or even 6 is hard for me to fathom. I cant see how multiple monitors are the future, but for some it is better than one i suppose. I am looking at buying 1 more GTX690 and that will be my setup complete.The graphics are incredible compared to the ps3 as i use both as some games like uncharted are exclusive to sony and not available on pc.I use a game pad with my pc as i have never really got the hang of the gaming keyboard coming from a ps3 background.But i love all consoles including xbox and ps3 and am not a fanboy of any as they all have there fine qualities going for them. Mihadis,iiikemytoys,prerich,mj3k, thankyou for commenting in a positive way. The pc was my very first build and i recomend building them yourself as you can buy wholesale and save some serious money. That particular build cost me around $7500.00. If i was to get it built by a retailer it would have cost much much more. I used only the best components and its amazing the help you can get from youtube.The video card has a double GPU and is equal to 2 gtx 680 and i must say that my gaming has gone to another graphical level. Another gtx is on my list and that will see the computer side of things complete.Also the oppo bdp95 bluray player is going back to the factory and is being replaced by the denon dvda1ud universal player in a weeks time, so that will match my avpa1hda pre/pro. I am not really worried about 3d as yet. Thats it until a week when i will upgrade. Will post back with an upgrade shortly. Thanks again guys for your comments and peace.

Byrdman03,HHX,RKolinski,Bryceo, Thanks for your kind comments and so sorry that i am late in responding as i have been rather busy with the things we need to do to survive these days like work.(hehe) I really appreciate your kind thoughts. HHX keep up the drumming bro its a real good thing to do and it keeps you mentally up. For me i cannot imagine my life without a drum kit, i would feel naked without a kit in the house. The good thing about an electric kit is you can turn them down. I had a brady's drum kit which was handcrafted from jarrah which is made in western australia. Thanks again BZ, its a great room to view blurays in as it is pretty much sound proof. In fact, i might add that i did all the soundproofing and plastering myself as that is my trade. The walls are solid 200mm brick filled with concrete, so i rendered(solid plaster) the outside and inside i timber batterned the walls and lined them with 2 layers of 13mm sound stop plasterboard(drywall). Same as the ceiling 2 layers of 13mm plasterboard.In between each layer, i put a coat of plaster over the recessed joints to seal them and blocked of the eaves up inside the ceiling with 2 layers also and filled the ceiling with soundproof insulation. None on the walls as they are filled with concrete anyway. The room is doubled as a music room for my drum tuition which i give on a regular basis. I am in the process of buying the sim 2 HT380 Pprojector and 140 inch cinemascope screen with the maching anamorphic lens. Hopefully it wont be far off.I should purchase these in around november hopefully. Oh and the POAA1HD to match the avpa1hda. When i do this deal i will have a pretty good setup. Its ok now, but there is better still to come. kind regards BZ

Jonmoz, i have had my ear out on the Yamaha z11 and its a fine amp, but if you cant afford the reddies for the avp, i would go the marantz 8003 combo. Just my opinion bro. cheers and thanks for the fine comment.
