Was?!?! Zum Teufel! Teufel means "Devil" in German...in case you didn't know yet ...

Goergeous! Those couches look REALLY inviting for a good Blu movie sit-down!

Nice color scheme. I wish I could get away with those colors without the wife saying anything. Those speakers look awesome. Nice and neat setup.

Beautiful! Just one question... I see several remotes on the table. Why no universal remote?

@rileydigital: first I thought about the V2700 but then I got a good price for this one. Of cousre it was still higher but the 1080p upscaling was worth it I guess. Since this is my first AV receiver I can not really compare it to anything . Comparing it to what I had before (pic 4 old SONY amp) would not be really fair. I simply love the new one.
@~~HomeTheatreFreak~~: I guess the pics give a wrong impression of how the sofa is placed. In fact there is a gap of approx 60cm (~2ft) between wall and sofa back side. I will upload a pic...
@landry_p2000: oh yes; I spend a few hours in there...

Nice equipment! I am saving up to upgrade to your Yamaha--how do you like it? Room looks great--red not my favorite color, but you pulled it off nicely--Nice clean room. Excellent projector as well. Great Job!

Thanks for the nice comments. @bluron: The room is 5,5 x 4,2 meters (~18 x 14 feet) and is located in the basement. The screen is a fine putty painted with quite diluted dulux "polarweiss" (several coatings); I think that works out good. The ceiling is red painted OSB wood (chunks of wood glued and pressed tightly into a matrix) that gives a interesting pattern. The red wall is actually a glued on carpet.
