I started the basement within the first week of moving in. Priorities.

Just mdf wood some black paint and a can of behr silverscreen. Had to work around the original outlets and window.

Old speakers that sounded great but surrounds were starting to tear. So without thinking I picked up a smaller but more defined pair of jbl es70s on sale. Paradigms are next

Is that a glass on top of my reciever? just noticed that. Wow. First of all how did I let that happen and second how did I take a pic and still not notice.

@invenio. Thx for the comment. I used Audyssey to blend the 3 subs and they sound great. I dont even notice where it is anymore. As for the Yaqin gear, I couldn't be happier with purchasing their products. I bought them all new from a dealer in the Toronto area so I didn't have to worry about shipping and the headaches. Full warranty and the best part is if I have any issues or questions he has answered them within the same day. For the money, other than Grant Fidelity (which I also recommend highly) you really cant go wrong.

Great setup. I love all the DIY stuff. I think having the sub between the seats is very daring. I would never have guessed to put it that close. You probably have the volume adjusted down from the front subs? I see you have some yaqin analog gear in there. What is your take on them, they look amazing (and are priced so low) but I am hesitant about getting "Chinese" hardware right through the mail without trying them out? They never have any at high-fi shops so I've never demo'd them before. Magazine like stereophile never review them either.

I think it's awesome how you've set up your system. You did a fantastic job with the wall screen as well as your speaker risers and sound absorbing pads. Your amp and turntable are very high end. Love the decor! A friend of mine has a pair of Paradigm Titans as well. Those are beasts and sound wonderful. Your theater must sound incredible. To say your setup is first class would be an understatement. I can't imagine it looking any better.
