Backside of the Pioneer VSX-1018AH, had to violate the TV bench quite a bit for ventilation and to fit
the receiver and cables. PS3 to the left of the receiver.
Works well despite the limited space (so far ). Probably partly thanks to the receiver not being very hot. Limitation/compromise #3 is the main reason for this solution
(Using TV = Stereo)
Was it just me or did there used to be a picture of some cheese curls or something laid out into "007", haha. Forgot to come back and rate. Great setup you have there.
Nice clean setup........... Sorry to read about the GAF ( girlfriend approval factor) . It can be a real MOTHER ( another female BTW) I hope your system doesn't melt down from a lack of ventilation.
Looks good and clean, must look and sound quite impressive sitting quite close to the equipment (screen + speakers).
Only, I would make better use of that closet with the glasses in it, if you know what I mean.
Thanks for the comments!
The floor is indeed pine and it's actually the original floor from the 1920s, just that it's been restored and treated with some white-ish enamel.
The KEF speakers are also awesome, I'm far from an audio expert, but even I could hear a huge difference between those speakers and cheaper speakers, there's a much wider audio spectrum or whatever you call it so it was a no-brainer
Very inspiring friend!......I am patiently waiting for my own equipment which is a long time coming, as I work within my means and your set up has helped me to be positive about waiting, and to enjoy each step with seeing things come together.
Thank you again and ''Genuinely enjoy the fruits of your hard eared labour:)''
