I built this room from planning stage to completion in about 6 months with most of the work being done in a 3 week period near the end. As I have made changes I moved older pictures into the "Previous Setup" gallery (but not all). Comments are welcome!

The above pictures still shows my old Martin Logan speakers. Look at the end of this gallery to see the new Magnepan 20.1's.

Magnepan MG 20.1 Cherrywood and Black. Custom stands are very thick steel with cement and epoxy filling and coated with rubber. Crossover capacitors (35) replaced with Z capacitor (eliminating all 35 connections with point to point Jenna labs wire with cardas silver solder in the entire circuit). Fuses directly bypassed. Speaker stands on custom speaker feet marble stands.

There are about 150 1x1 ft soundproofing panels in the room that I mounted one at a time (that took awhile!).

Conrad Johnson Amp. It weights 115 lbs,... needed some help getting it into position. I have it sitting on 4 audiophile jelly feet (not pictured) on the amp stand.

Bought 2 of these to replace my current audio rack. I want to get the receiver off the floor and into the rack, and I also want to move the laserdisc player to a lower shelf. Hopefully this will give me the space I need. I will post pics once I have it all set up.

New racks setup. Removed the old taller one and now I have 10 shelves to play with! I like this setup much better.

I guess you could call this the "old" rack. VHS, tape, laserdisc.....

A highly "stylized" view of my Martin Logan Vantage speaker... perhaps a good wallpaper for my computer?

Installed 12 feet of base traps under the screen. I wanted to block out the white color of the baseboard and at the same time improve the acoustics of the room. Tried to kill two birds with one stone,... I think it turned out fairly well.

Upgraded the main Speakers from Martin Logan Vantages to highly modified Magnepan MG 20.1's with custom bases. The upgrade is truly magnificent sounding!
