Very clean setup!!! Love the KEF speakers they are sleek and sexy but you can tell they pack a punch. BTW love the city shots outside kinda reminds me of Cali, Colombia when I visited there. I am think about trying to find a job in Central or South America I guess I need to add Ecuador on my list of candidates. Everything in your setup flows so well with the furniture, I am hoping I can achieve that myself.

@ Irrob: Thanks buddy for the visit and the comment, I appreciate very much. To answer your question, separate amplification is something that really catches my attention, is one of the planned improvements, unfortunately, my Yamaha receiver does not have pre-out connections, so first I must change the receiver, for now, the towers are bi-amplified.

@ldgibson76 Comrade, I am extremely grateful for your comment so kind, I'm enjoying a lot the new set of speakers, they sound pretty good, the main difference with the Sony's in which I made the modification is that the KEF's have a soundstage noticeably wider and fill more space, and they are much more accurate and detailed. The Sony's however gave me some good times and great entertainment, especially gave me the opportunity to learn about the world of sound as modified them.

Hello Mangosta. What else can I say but, "WOW". The new KEF's are beautiful. Congrats on the acquisition of the new speaker package. Not that the Sony towers weren't nice looking because they were. But the Kef's now give your setup a very refined and classy look. Your room is already tastefully furnished and the Kef dark finish really enhances the rest of the decor. BTW, the images are remarkable. So now that you've had the Kef's for some time now, what differences are you experiencing compared to the modded Sony towers?
