great speakers , very clean. have you tried a different location for the bookshelf speakers. Like on the top, or up front with stands. it's something I would try ...other than that awesome! you would think bookshelf speakers in bookshelf but it's not recommended. something to look into
Looks great. Did you custom build those wall units (for lack of a better word that is escaping me right now) on the left and right of the TV? Cuz it looks made to fit in snug as a bug
DangeRuss- Thanks, ya its a mix match set up... I got the R and L fronts and rears used and bought the sub and centre at the same time new... When I upgrade I will go with the same brand across the board except maybe the sub, which I dont feel any need to upgrade.
Thanks eljay! I love those paradigms and I know they will make an excellent set of speakers for a 2.0 system when I upgrade. I have been looking at getting the new Monitor 9's and a CC-390... which I can afford now, but am thinking of saving more to go with some studio 100's, but those are a lot more money, don't know if I should just dream or just do it.... And yes I should post some other pics to give a complete view of my living room, but I am ashamed of my futon.
Nice set-up! I owned a pair of 7se's - which were awesome speakers - for 20 years before moving up to Monitor 7 v4s last year.
If you're going to upgrade your center, a Paradigm CC-370 (v3 or v4) will go very well with the 7se's.
Any plans to post pics of the rear set-up & seating?
I noticed not long ago when watching the movie The Cooler, that the painting I have over my tv is the same as the one above the bed in Macy's hotel room!
My son's grandfather has the same television, only the 46" model. He had never seen an HD signal through it, so I brought my BD player over to his place and hooked it up via component input (setting the player's output to 1080i), threw in "Ratatouille" and it really brought his tv to life! Even I couldn't believe how nicely the picture looked.
