Analog System (8) Present Home Theater System (2) New Listening Room/Home Theater (25)
This Gallery of my Analog System is presented for those interested in vinyl and for those that have known that I have been waiting for the delivery and installation for 10 months. It is intended to be judged entirely upon this system and these components alone. The rest of the Home Theater is expected to be posted late this year or sometime next once I move and build the theater. I am unable to set-up my large Home Theater and all of the audio components properly in my home due to the limited space.
To get a better idea of the problem of showing photos of the Home Theater, my 5.1 system is in about a 10' X 12' room with a dog ear for the Analog System. At present the system includes an 18" Epik Conquest Subwoofer along with the Pioneer Kuro Elite 111-FD Plasma TV, 3 power amps (2 are monoblocks), a Pre/Pro amp, an upgraded Audio Research LS10 Preamp, a DVD player, a Blu-ray Player, 2 power units, 1 DAC, an AM/FM Tuner, and a DirecTV HD box, along with the Analog System shown here. This equipment is all housed in 2 rack systems and 2 sets of amp stands. Additionally 2 monoblock power amps are in storage (and I am looking for a 5th) that will be put into service once I move. Additional equipment that will be coming for the new Home Theater will include a 3rd power unit, 2 Isolation transformers, a 2nd Epik Conquest Subwoofer, and possibly a PS Audio Digital Lens once they become available. The 2 very large mirror imaged line stage towers are built and the and a half tower for the center channel is being built. The rear speakers are built. The side surround and will be built later. A 5 tier rack system has been ordered, the 2nd Epik Conquest may be ordered in a few weeks, a lot of speaker cabling is being shipped, and hopefully a Projection Screen and a Projector will also be coming hopefully between the end of this and the middle of next year. You will just have to wait until late this year or hopefully early next once I move into the home that is to be built along with the home theater room. I close on the new House on November 24. I will post some before photos of the room in several weeks. The Listening Room/Home Theater needs to be modified during the 1st week of December. Then I will start to move the equipment into the room.
For those that really wish to see some of my other system components, see the link below. I do apologize for the clutter, space and the wiring, but as I have said everything at present is in very tight quarters.

Thanks guys. As I have mentioned earlier, I believe that at present this is only 1 of 3 Teres Audio Certus 450 Turntables to have ever been produced. Chris Brady of Teres Audio is supposed to make one these for himself with platforms for 2 tone arms. Chris has told me after the switching of the Marigo Mystery Feet under my Turntable Control box and and since we were getting better audio performance from the Certus 450 than the more expensive and larger Certus 460 that the Certus 460 was to be discontinued.
Also, the Teres Audio Illius Tonearm in the photos was the 1st production tonearm and may still be the only one in existence. Rich

It's comments like yellowblankets I was refering to in my thread. HT is not just video..it's audio also...you'll be hard pressed to find a better vinyl setup than Rich has. Read what's posted people before you make comments on lack of video.

Rich I thought I had commented on this earlier ? :/ It looks like a vinyl lover's dream - and which let's be honest, nothing sounds as good as vinyl !I can only imagine the warmth of the sound that eminates from that lot ! Beautiful indeed.

Very impressive, Rich. Knowing the kind of taste you have, I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the setup when it's ready. I already feel like I'm not worthy.

This has nothing to do with Blu-ray other than it has a Blu light...I give it a 10 for abstraction! ...

KCWolfPck ,
Look at my signature for the system. It has not been posted in the Gallery because of the lack of space until I move. I was asked to post the analog system and only the analog system into the Gallery.

What an amazing piece of equipment. Makes my 1970's vintage Yamaha YP-801 look a bit pathetic.

Chris Brady basically said to just dust the Turntable. He didn't think that the Cocobolo wood needs any lemon oil or any other treatment. I will check back with him in the future. Teres Audio is the only turntable maker to make their platters out of wood and the wood actually contributes to the audio performance of the turntable. There is a lead shot loaded phenolic core that is inside of the wood covering. I believe that the tonearm may also be made of the same wood; it is certainly stained the same. But I would have to confirm this with Chris.

What can I say that hasn't already mentioned by others and that we've talked about over the last several months. This is a setup worthy of only the highest rating and I'm sure it will give you decades of musical enjoyment. I hope to see more pictures of your entire system as well, once you get settled in the new house. Congratulations Rich!

Eddie,
No problem, there was no comment posted at all. I didn't delete any comments that have been posted.
Everyone else, thanks for the very positive comments.
Alex,
We still have no scheduled meeting dates for the get together. I will send you and a few others some PMs to try to make a scheduled date. It would be great to meet you and to have you be able to see and hear the Teres Certus 450. There are only 3 of this model in the world at present and only 1 of the tonearm.
