All of the gear is listed in the tag below the picture, with the exception of my Xbox 360 (Pro model), Sony 100-disc CD changer, and my custom-made center by elemental Designs. The center is timbre-matched to my front towers. It is 35" wide, 8" tall and 8" deep. It has a 1" dome tweeter with two 6.5" mid-range drivers and dual ports. I had it custom made to fit the dedicated space on the shelf below my TV.
Marcus Wright - thank you for your kind words. A lot of the ratings were given prior to the latest round of upgrades I've taken on. Since January of this year, I have painted the room and added curtains (for aesthetics), added a 2nd sub, new front soundstage speakers, projector and screen, and new Pioneer Elite receiver. Many of those ratings were given to my previous setup, which might not have been as deserving as some of the higher ratings it got. In the end, I think it probably was a wash out.
I certainly appreciate all of the kind words of feedback I've gotten, but I cannot fault anyone who's opinions may be different than my own.
nice set up .. .customize that xbox.. that white sticks out like a sore thumb, and it'll be fun.. mine used to be white and i changed it to black with led's its in my gallery ....google xbox 360 mods. it's not that expensive either .. i think i got my case for like 40 bucks and it ties it in nice
How do you like the Panny? It was my first choice but here in Canada, it's an extra $1,000 which was out of my price range. I really wanted it though. Everything looks great. Congrats.
Great job on the setup. Love how you were able to fit the projector setup in your small space. The image from that projector is beautiful! Loving the ED speakers and subs.
The eD front sound stage alone garners a "10" rating. And stepping up to the Panny PT-AE4000 more than makes up for the legacy Sony AVR. Hey, I know ho you feel about wanting to upgrade to HDMI connectivity and Hi-Rez audio. The SPL the two subs produce in that area must be intense! Insane is more like it! The screen shots are fantastic. Lastly, I want to apologize for missing your gallery and just posting. You do have a sweet setup.
