Screenshot of the menu of a DTS HD-MA 2007 demo disc. These are available from electronics trade shows such as CES, or if you want to pay the $25 - $30 you can find 'em on eBay.

Marantz AV7005 Pre-pro | Emotiva XPA-2 2-ch amp | Emotiva XPA-5 5-ch amp | Oppo BDP-93 Blu-ray Player | FIOS QIP6416-2 DVR | Samsung DVD-155 DVD Recorder | Sony DVP-NC655 5-disc DVD changer | Furman Power Conditioner
Don't let the picture fool you. The gear has adequate ventilation and is also open to the back. Also, there is a media niche behind the entertainment center so the gear is not backed up to a wall. There's plenty of room for the air to flow to the back.

MFW-15 Sub (Sub #1)
Uploaded Jun 20, 2012 13:19:53
Fresh out of the box (sorry, didn't wipe it down, still has foam particles on it). The sub is located behind the entertainment center which is in front of a media niche. It's difficult to get a shot of the sub back there so this will have to do.
Rocket RS250 MKII Signature Series Bookshelves

Upgraded these to the signature series crossover June 2010. What a BIG difference the sigs make! I love these bookshelves!
Emotiva ERM-1 (Hidden Front Right Height Channel w/o Grille)
Uploaded Jun 20, 2012 13:24:16
Hidden behind the upper grilles of the entertainment center doors are the height channels. Not the optimum placement, but it sounds great to me! Emotiva makes great amps, and they make great speakers, too!
These are the 1st gen bookshelves. They can be positioned vertically or horizontally as you can see, which makes them an effective center channel as well. Emotiva also included a boundary compensation switch when using them in an actual bookshelf. It's a fairly effective feature, but there's not much impact on their current placement in the cabinet since I'm only using them as effect channels. I also have another set for surround duty in my 2nd setup.
Emotiva ERM-1 (Hidden Front Left Height Channel w/Grille)

The other height channel, this one with the grille on. I don't normally keep the grilles on since these are behind the grilles of the entertainment center doors - just wanted to show how they look with their clothes on. Like the emblem.

A lights-out shot of my old UMC-1 with the XPA-2 and XPA-5 for the short time that I had the UMC-1 in the main setup. I normally have the blue lights OFF, but I was playin' around and turned them ON for a "night shot".

Office Gear - Emotiva UMC-1 and LPA-1 7-CH amp. This is an old pic as I no longer have the UMC-1. However the combo looks great together.

My prior biamped LPA-1s! I miss them, but I love the XPA-2 + XPA-5 combo better!
