The Infocus X10 1080P projector. For a so called entry level model it faithfully reproduces Blu Ray and Foxtel HD perfectly. Vaf surrounds. I have a 7.1 system but 5.1 is good enough for me.

The gear: Marantz x 2, Rotel and Pioneer.

The THX plaque is an original from the official site. You can't get these anymore.

Ditto for DTS. Superman is a cookie jar from an old Warners shop that sadly closed down in the Sydney CBD a few years ago...

Hello sean19. You have a very impressive rig. The Marantz AVR and Rotel RMB-1095 is a potent combination. The Infocus X10 is a very nice HD projector. I'm sure it provides an excellent picture. The VAF/Velodyne HGS15 speaker package is very strong! Congrats on a well configured setup.

Terrific set up. in the 90's my friend's father had a marantz signature range CD player with Technics mrk2 amp and energy pro 4.5 speakers. I have to say I have very rarely heard music played with the agility and detail I heard back then. Ahh Massive Attack's mezzanine was awes inspiring. any ways, Id be happy with the Marantz range in my imaginary collection as well. That velodyne looks very interesting..

Thanks. I came back to Marantz after first having a Dolby Surround amp in the VHS days and then defected to Yamaha when Dolby Digital first came out. Then, when I decided to go DTS, I tried out Harmon Kardon. Now that I'm back with Marantz, I seriously doubt I will ever leave them again. If and when I upgrade to 3-D, I will definitely stick with them. My next Blu Ray player will be Marantz as well, even though, Pioneer make very good players. I believe in using as many of the same components as each other. It just sounds better...

Yep, bring those speakers in from the corners. Any speaker will reflect off the side walls. You want to have the sound dead. No reflection. It only has to be about 6". Ta Dono

Thanks for the tip, and, I know what you're getting at, but, I have no feed back issues or deadness. When I bought them from Vaf they told me that they can sit snug in the corners with no propbs at all. They've been there since day 1 and that was over 5 years ago.

Nice Home Theater. Awesome speakers and gear. Sweet screen, love the Bluray and Holden collection. Was real close to getting a Pontiac GTO, same as your Holden Monaro I believe.
