Thanks for your comment about my setup's cables Sean, yeah I do need to clean them up.

Thought I'd post in here though because I was actually browsing your setup before having upped any of my shots, and I love those red curtains. I'll be considering much the same kind of thing when I move into a place of my own, that's fantastic the way you've set everything up to really bring emphasis to that screen.

Great job mate!

Thanks Todd. I've heard lots of speakers this past year. Even top of the line B&W's. Mirage can hold its own. What I like about them is with their 360 degree sound technology anywhere you sit in my rooms sounds excellent when settings are tweaked/calibrated on the receiver. A lot of speakers have sweet spots and things don't sound as good outside of it....as far as I can tell the Mirage speakers sound amazing anywhere I sit in my room. If this guy with omd-15's and I come to an agreement I will now have matching towers to go with my center. The om-9's will go to the surrounds and 550's sold. I'd keep the 550's but it wouldn't be ideal space wise with towers behind the couch. The 550's are cherry and don't match my gloss black speakers. For 7.1 I'll probably go a smaller speaker route.

Sean,Your Bedroom System is the Bomb,No Doubt.
Love the Looks and Craftsmanship of The Awesome Mirage Speakers.I Know they Sound Like True Hi-End Speakers.
From the Surrounds(which I want a pair of Now)To The New Fronts, and The Sweet Looking Center Channel.
The music and Movie Soundtracks must sound true to life as possible. And the Def Tech Cube Sub is on my upgrade list. Outstanding System,Sean. Its unique as I have only found 1 or 2 Members Using Mirage.Which is a Shame. They Sound Extremely Open and Smooth.

The Bello rack I got off Audiogon. It retails for $600 I think....I paid less than that.

Tbizzle...mini-fridge is a must for me. I have either had one in my bedroom or living room setup. I've decided against having one in the bedroom for now and limited eating/drinking in there. I lost 2 apple keyboards due to spills. The Mirage speakers look/sound great...I'll be adding more for 7.1 (7.2 eventually whenever I get caught up with other stuff on my list).

That's a negative on the Pioneer AVR...I'll be buying a new amp first. I need to go to Minneapolis to get the Pioneer I want and with family/work it probably won't be till December.

Sean, I am so sorry that I am just posting a comment in this section. Your room has really transformed into a very inviting area to watch movies. I really like the new Bell'O rack. Has the new Pioneer AVR arrived yet?

WOW! That room looks awesome. Not only is your equipment great (not that I know much) but the room is designed and decorated superbly. The atomosphere can add a lot to the experience and I am sure that you are proud of it.

travia and tilapiah...thanks for comments on curtains. Beta man would disagree with you. Says they are too reflective. In reality they are dull. With all the lights off and the room enclosed the curtains have a black/red look to them. Its the camera making them look reflective. Still working on getting better pics taken. Friend was saying he had his dslr all ready tonight after bugging him for 6 months. Unfortunately there is no point till my mirage gloss piano black towers and bello a/v rack gets here. I might have him do the bedroom pics tomorrow although most of those pics turned out really well.

I love every single thing about your HT. It's very classy. The curtains are perfect, and those speakers look gorgeous. I'll bet they and that sub rock your entire house when watching a Blu-ray! Well done. 10/10

Also, thanks for your rating on my home theater.

WTF???? I never rate this gallery before sean. With the stuff you have, the way you have changed that room around and just your taste in the aesthetics, I had to give this a 10. That is one awesome room. The curtain color kick a$$ too. Blacking out the ceiling was a great idea and looks good as well. I love everything about that room, awesome job sean!

Tbizzle...not sure either. I think it's because it's like a passing thought...pics from ht thread...or people don't see them because my thread jumps in pages a lot so they think I'm still messing with the bedroom (which I am...pioneer kuro next week!). New matching front mirage towers next week. Thanks everyone for kind comments who have posted lately.
