nycomet, the picture is very bright and very sharp. Before this projector i had a 42" 1080i plasma, and the projector is alot clearer and brighter. Now that i have put 1800 hours on it i can tell it is getting a little less bright.

Snowball, compared to that photo of you in the costume wrestling with your cousin in the wood-paneled room, this home theater set up is extremely impressive. You have excellent taste (at least, in these photos). LOL! What is your screen size? Does the projector provide a bright picture on the screen compared to a flat panel LED or LCD TV? I always thought projectors would not be as bright -- and I thought they would not be as sharp, but your screen shot of Star Trek looks very bright and sharp. Let me know. Thanks, Terrence / nycomet
