First step was to clear out the space of my racing equipment and knock down the dividing wall and remove the rubble. (Uploaded May 30, 2009 22:56:17)

This wall was built with plug-ins which go to the APC conditioner for my subs. (Uploaded May 30, 2009 22:57:04)




After furing strips were put on the block walls i placed 3/4" styrofoam sheeting between them for insul./sound deadening then gypsum board was hung. (Uploaded May 30, 2009 22:57:15)




Gypsum board ceilings with acoustic chips sprayed on then painted flat black, and r30 insulation above. (Uploaded May 30, 2009 22:57:28)

Screw the home theatre setup (which is great by the way)! I'm immensly jealous of your lot, so many trees must be extremely private. How close are you to the road?

Wow! Nice Carpet, curtains, remote, Bluray collection, seats, equipment, big screen and popcorn machine!!! LOL! I also like the cabinet the Blurays are in, the godfather poster, the Starwars poster, the JBLs and the Polks! I have a couple polks too and they are great...

thanks for gracious comments we enjoy it alot, it has changed the way we watch/experience movies, the two receiver concept came to me as they are both the same power rating (140x7) as well as technology, and the newer one has all the codecs used.

Interesting, this is first I've seen 2 AVRs used to biamp vs. an avr/pre-pro and 2 dedicated amps. I'm still doing the "math" in my head. But, what better way to go than Elite! Excellent job on the room! I love it!
