So the Theater is done for the most part. Placed the finished pics in the Finished Home Theater Gallery.

Also, got rid of the crappy kitchen area and moved the old carpet to the back area. Looks a lot better and more practical space.

Finally got all the doors flipped right side up as well dcc1048. LOL.

Yeah I got a great deal. Pioneer dropped all their projectors as they left the display making business. So I got it for like less than half price. But had to import from the US, which cost me an arm and leg.

But it is a beautiful projector. I love it.

It basically is a rebadged JVC RS2 which is also a top notch projector.

Oh and the Universal Remote - Logitech Harmony 890 - need RF for the 2 reasons.

(1) Lighting control is setup with RF presently.

(2) Will be placing my equipement in the office behind the projector wall.

So far my equipment consists of everything outline in the pictures above. But in main gear in list format:

106" EluneVision High Definition Cinema White Fixed Frame Screen - 16:9 - 1.2 Gain
Pioneer FPJ1 Projector (JVC RS2 Clone)
7.1 SVS Speakers (6 x SVS SBS-01 Bookshelf - 1 x SVS SCS-01(M) Center - SVS PB10-NSD Sub)
Onkyo 705 Receiver
PS3 - 60GB

Are there any other components I should get? Thinking about another SVS sub for the back of the room.

Thanks. I used the Google Sketchup Free Edition. Bit of a learning curve, but easy to use after that.

Already got the mounts, just need to buy the in-wall wiring and run it. But I think I will do that during the platform install. So I can run some wiring thru it.

Still have a lot of work to do, build a platform for the back row, build a wall to enclose theater for sound, paint, run wiring in walls for 7.1 speakers, build closet for A/V equipement, mount projector, new carpeting, etc ...

But after the new equipement purchases am a little strapped for cash so those things are going to have to wait a while. Probably chip away at them slowly. At least now I can really enjoy my movies, the way they are meant to be seen and heard.
