My home theater (22 photos)The front soundstage, risers, TV, and componentsUploaded May 03, 2009 21:47:04
TV is the Sony Bravia 46 inch LCD. Center is the Polk CS2. Fronts are the Monitor 70s. The Blu-ray player is the PS3 40GB model. Receiver is the Yamaha RX-V663. The power conditioner is the APC H15. The sub is the Elemental Designs A2-300. The new Cyron BacklightsUploaded Jan 22, 2009 21:24:06
Never has this scene of Laura wrapped in plastic been framed so nicely! I love these lights. They really make the colors stand out on my HT. The loveseat, or as I like to call it, super-comfortable theater seating!Uploaded Feb 16, 2009 21:12:46
Mine and the wife's sweet spot. Had to have the cup holders! New Blu-ray/DVD bookshelvesUploaded Feb 16, 2009 21:11:40
The top shelf on the right is reserved for Blu-rays coming out later this year. Gotta clean out the wishlist! Monitor 70 riserUploaded May 03, 2009 02:01:11
Homemade riser. The IR4PS3Uploaded Jan 10, 2009 21:00:13
This little box converts the infrared signal from my Harmony One to Bluetooth so that the I have full control over the PS3 with the Harmony. It's nice to press 'PS3 Movie' and everything come on, or the Off button and everything go off, instead of having to walk to the PS3 to turn it off. Sub riser and other Monitor 70 riserUploaded May 03, 2009 02:01:35
All homemade. Good times. Elemental Designs A2-300 (before riser)Uploaded Jan 17, 2009 18:24:38
I figured I'd go ahead and add a deceiving picture of the A2-300 which makes it look smaller than it really is. LOVE THIS SUB! Polk Monitor 70 grill off, before riserUploaded Jan 17, 2009 20:02:36
Assembly line low end speaker you say? Well until I win the lottery or get a HUGE pay raise, these will do fine. I think they sound amazing. A comparison of the A2-300 and the Monitor 70 (again, pre-riser days)Uploaded Jan 17, 2009 20:02:50
This sub really is bigger than it looks in this picture. I'd say if it had a fault, that would be it. It definitely has a very big presence in the HT. Once you hear what it can do, though, you'll understand. Another screenshot of my favorite TV show, Twin PeaksUploaded Jan 22, 2009 21:24:23
Can't wait for it to come to Blu-ray, if it ever does. Updated collectionUploaded Feb 16, 2009 21:11:53
Sorry for the blurry pic. The stuff on the far right is the newest. The Notebook Blu-ray gift set was a Valentine's day gift to my wife (THERE! That's my explanation for it! >.>). Sun-eliminating drapes and right reclinerUploaded Feb 16, 2009 21:12:05
Drapes courtesy of the female in the house. Cambridge Newton Series MC55 Rear SurroundsUploaded Feb 16, 2009 21:12:19
Had to have the full 7.1 setup! These little speakers have a very crisp, open sound. Perfect for gunshots and explosions. Logitech Harmony One in its charging dockUploaded Feb 16, 2009 21:12:33
Left reclinerUploaded Feb 16, 2009 21:12:59
Despite it being to the far left, it still gets the entire sound spectrum and reclines all the way back to boot! Perfect for those late nights. The Logitech Harmony OneUploaded Feb 16, 2009 21:13:13
I finally broke down and upgraded from the 550, and couldn't be happier. The button layout is ten times better, the touch screen is just great and also very cool looking, and I also love the ability to add channel icons for up to 24 channels. The APC Power Conditioner H15Uploaded Jan 10, 2009 20:59:56
When you absolutely gots to protect every component in the room, accept no substitute. I've had it only a few days and already it's been filtering the power and boosting the line whenever all of my components are on. I live in an old rented house, so the wiring is less than perfect.... A closer look at the Monitor 70 riserUploaded May 03, 2009 02:01:24
Yamaha RX-V663Uploaded Jan 17, 2009 18:24:13
So far I'm nothing but thrilled with this unit! The one and only downfall is that it only has two HDMI inputs, which some people may have a problem with. I don't.... YET. An even CLOSER look at the Monitor 70 riserUploaded May 03, 2009 02:01:47
Monitor 30 riserUploaded May 03, 2009 02:01:59
Sorry it's such a blurry picture. Also (clearly) homemade riser for my surrounds. I have one on the other side too. Ratings
